With fall ball just around the corner, the landscape is further taking shape, as a number of prospects have transferred schools and found new homes.
A rising sophomore with a developing offensive game, [player_tooltip player_id='2969300' first='Steeven' last='Pierre'] provides value as an in rhythm shot maker while also showing encouraging glimpses of expanding his game as a shot creator off the bounce. Pierre is a wiry guard, who between his freshman season at Timothy Christian and this past spring and summer with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078573' first='NJ' last='Beasts'], has shown a level of comfort within the offensive flow, particularly with his ability to balance shot making and self creation— getting to his spots off the bounce for mid range pull ups, confidently stepping into in rhythm perimeter looks off the catch, knocking down movement threes, and even navigating ball screens in different PnR actions. Expected to see increased offensive volume at College Achieve Central this season look for Pierre to continue showcasing the impact he's capable of providing as a shot maker and the growth in his skillset as a creator.

A physical guard who consistently pressures the rim while providing a strong defensive presence, [player_tooltip player_id='3591492' first='RJ' last='Michel'] will look to couple those two way intangibles with the contagious effort, energy, and intensity he approaches the game with to this new look Union Catholic rotation. Michel is aggressive in attacking driving angles— plays downhill when attacking closeouts while also generates rim pressure in the open floor when running the lanes in transition. Michel's defensive impact however might just very well be his calling card— where his on ball pressure, ability to contain drives, and anticipation skills when being disruptive against opposing ball handlers should provide Michel ample opportunity to be an impactful guard, new to this Union Catholic program.

Defensively is where Boswell Jr. impressively leverages his length the most— blocking shot attempts with timely anticipation, snatching rebounds out the air, and containing drives with his long arms. Still early in his development offensively, Boswell Jr. shows a lot of the encouraging flashes prospects of his length often times exemplify— high, extended finishes in traffic around the basket, hints of fluidity off the bounce when initiating offense and creating off the bounce, and confidently stepping into open perimeter looks off the catch. Transferring to Life Center Academy should be a great opportunity for Boswell Jr. to continue to refine his strengths, address areas for growth, and further developing his game.

Making a lot of the necessary quick decisions that a lead guard is often times tasked with making, Bah keeps the offense humming— moving the ball and consistently excelling as a facilitator finding different teammates in rhythm while mixing in tough pull ups and strong finishes at the rim. Reclassing a year, Bah's transfer to Life Center Academy should present ample opportunity to prove the fearless playmaker who brings toughness, competitiveness, and natural instincts to every possession that he is.

Another new addition to this new look Union Catholic group, [player_tooltip player_id='3759408' first='Josh' last='Henriquez'] figures to provide a solid scoring pop in the backcourt. Most of Henriquez's offensive production comes in the painted area, generating a ton of rim pressure— attacking closeouts off the bounce, attacking driving angles in the open floor, breaking his defender down with creativity off the dribble in isolation situations, all highlighted by strong footwork, soft touch finishing, and even an ability to absorb contact on his way to the rim. This new look Union Catholic squad has a void to fill with a lot of their scoring production from a year ago now out the door, however Henriquez's skillset is a solid overall match for what this new look Union Catholic team is looking for heading into the season.
