The Kansas class of 2023 talent….. where are all those top players? We run you through the names now as we look back and check in on these guys who are in their fourth season of college hoops!
Grant is about to be a fourth year player at Omaha, he started some his first year, was a deeper reserve his second year, and was a full time starter last season. Scored 9.3 points a game shooting 52 percent from the field with over three boards and over three assists a game. One of the few returning starters in the Summit this year that have been with the team their entire career.
Started 21 games for Drake last season scoring 9.1 points and 4.3 rebounds a game shooting 43 percent from the field and near 40 percent from the arc. He played in eleven games for Indiana State as a true freshman and then red-shirted his second season. Is at Drake still and has two years left to play for the Bulldogs.
Scored nearly 15 points per game at Hutchinson Community College recently and announced last winter that hew as committing to East Texas A&M for next season. Looks to have spent his first season out of high school playing for Overtime Elite.
Highlights
Tyson has been a three year member of the Washburn Ichabods appearing in 44 games making four starts. He was injured his first season and was a deep bench reserve his second year. Last season Tyson played in 30 games averaging 8.2 points with 4.8 rebounds.
Marcus is now at Northwestern Oklahoma State at the division two level. Marcus averaged eight points, three rebounds and three assists a contest at Central Oklahoma last year. His first two years of college basketball were spent at Cowley College where Marcus scored 11 points a game as a sophomore.
Played two years at Hutchinson Community College before heading to Eastern New Mexico last season where he played ten minutes a game last season scoring three points a game. Looks to be still be at ENMU for his senior year but there is no roster up.
Brekyn was at Ottawa University for his initial seasons and was at Tabor last year as a red-shirt freshman. Was not listed in the season box score last year.
Will is a fourth year football player for Kansas State. He is a tight end that caught two passes last weekend for 19 yards and he's caught four touchdown passes in his career.
Isaiah is about to play his fourth season of basketball at Atwater. He red-shirted his freshman year and since then has started 36 of 60 games over the next two years. Atwater averaged ten points, two assists, and two rebounds a game last year shooting nearly 40 percent at the arc.
Eli is about to play his fourth season at Southwestern College. Eli red-shirted his first season and played in just five games his second year. Last season Eli played 18 minutes a game scoring six points a game with 4.4 rebounds a contest. Averaged two assists per game and started four games last year.
