Pumas Fall League: 2027 Standouts

Catching the entire gyms attention, I had multiple people asking me who he was and where he went to high school. A dominant transition athlete, Pettigrew was flying around the court with dunks and breakaway layups while also causing havoc defensively. With impressive quick twitch athleticism and the ability to leak out after turnovers and missed shots by his opponents, Pettigrew got a lot of easy ones in the game I saw. Mahler has decent size on the wing, knocked down a couple of 3-pointers in the game I watched and was productive throughout the contest. Mahler's best sequence was when he ripped a ball handler with a pickpocket steal and then knocked down a pull-up 3-pointer in transition. Hansen sat down defensively on the perimeter and forced turnovers by making ball handlers make multiple dribble moves to try and go around him. Despite being a smaller guard, Hansen also boxed out well to help his team on the glass. Offensively, Hansen had a nice inside hand finish at the rim as well. Mills started the game with a turnaround jumper off a reverse pivot and didn't stop scoring throughout the contest. Mills was quick to get the ball up at the rim as he made quick layups before the defense could rotate to block his shot. Able to attack closeouts and go coast to coast himself with the ball, Mills lived in the paint and found a lot of success as a slasher. Grove City has a handful of guys competing in the Pumas Fall League as they've been a program on the rise the last few years. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
