It seemed like whenever a 50/50 ball presented itself, whenever someone was getting a deflection or if there was an opportunity to crash the offensive glass, the junior guard/wing was in the mix. What he lacks in size he makes up for with his quick twitch ability. Particularly out of crossovers or hesitations, the southpaw guard has great burst to blow by his defender in space. He brings good positional size as a guard at 6-foot-2 and plays with a nice pace when getting to his spots. There's a fluidity and rhythm to his attack that allows him to maintain balance on pull ups where he showed sound mechanics and confidence. I've seen Hall fill it up from range with volume in past viewings, but Sunday he struggled to find his rhythm. However, what stood out most to me was his ability to adapt as more of a playmaker for others particularly in the open court. As soon as he received the ball from a teammate as the outlet, his eyes scanned the floor quickly to expose any advantage that was in front of him. He made several pinpoint passes to streaking teammates in stride for easy buckets. Sprinting the floor wide and running with purpose to make transition opportunities a numbers game that would benefit his group. Whether he was on or off the ball, his focus was on anticipating the next action and being in the right spot to make a play. If he led the break himself, he pushed the tempo anytime he could and put pressure on the rim, but stayed under control and many times, created an open look for a teammate in the corner or the wings. He plays with a competitive edge that catches your eye quickly. Then you see how well he can shoot it and it's hard to see him not having a productive sophomore season at Quince Orchard this season. Majority of his buckets came from beyond the arc or getting to the rim for floaters or tough, crafty finishes. He does a nice job of living up to the name of his grassroots squad as a hustler. You never saw Thomas taking a possession off or giving half effort running the floor. I liked his intentions on drives as he forced help defenders to step up and halt penetration as he kicked it out to shooters on the wings or in the corners. He chased down rebounds out of his area, gave multiple efforts that benefitted his team and was a low maintenance scorer as a cutter or shooter off the catch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
