Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase – Team 2 Evaluations

However, few compare to our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. On Sunday, September 6th at the Noblesville Boys &amp; Girls Club we hosted nearly 250 of the best underclassmen in the state. Over the next couple of weeks we will be posting individual evaluations of every prospect in attendance, highlighting top performers, introducing new names, and much more. Tolliver proved himself as a very good and willing passer finding several open teammates throughout the event. He also scored in transition and via layups at the end of his drives when the move was to take it himself. He used his smooth lefty shooting stroke to space the floor when he was away from the ball and had the ability to attack the paint as a creator when the ball was in his hands. He finished multiple layups at the end of his drives proving he could take it either direction and finish against opposing size. Marsh fit into the Team 2 backcourt very well showcasing his ability to space the floor as a catch-and-shoot threat. The 5'9" guard hit a smooth looking corner three-point shot during five-on-five play and was consistently ready with his hands and feet on the perimeter. He was consistently in attack mode when the ball was in his hands showing off impressive driving ability both in transition and in the half court. The 5'10" guard is a sharpshooter from three-point range, but can also serve as a primary ball handler and distributor. His ability to make the right play off of the dribble while still maintaining the threat to score was very impressive at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. It will be fun to continue to track his career as he goes through the program at Carmel High School. Berry was one of the prospects from down along the river that stood out. He is a 5'10" guard from New Albany High School that scored it from all three levels at different points during five-on-five play. We saw him knock in a three-point shots, finish at the end of shifty drives, and aggressively attack in transition. Wittleder is among the next round of talented prospects to come through the Tigers' program. The athletically built 6'3" wing has impressive positional size and really stood out for his catch-and-shoot ability. Here is what we had to say about the skilled forward...</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Keller was one of the biggest eye-catchers at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Early on in 5-on-5 play he had one of the highlights of the entire event as he went coast-to-coast, completed a same-hand between-the-legs dribble, and finished through contact at the rim. The 6'2" forward had many more impressive plays on Sunday showcasing his skill level and interior strength as a finisher. It wouldn't be shocking at all to see him making an impact at Andrean High School sooner rather than later. The way he moves around so fluidly as 6'4" wing always stands out right way. He has the versatility to operate out on the perimeter or use his height and length to cause mismatches inside. Here is what we had to say about the super skilled point guard...</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This 5'8" left-handed point guard was one of the best pure playmakers in the gym at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He is so shifty with the ball in his hands and does a great job of getting to the paint where he attracts even more defensive attention. Pritchett has a smooth pull-up jumper, a variety of intermediate range finishes, and is good at the end of his drives at the rim as well. His ball skill level is what will allow him to get into the backcourt rotation at Pike High School right away.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
