He demonstrated catch and shoot ability from 3 in rhythm while also attacking the baseline. Finished through contact once for a tough and1 in team's opening game. Khan is comfortable operating in the transition game and in the ½ court setting. He runs the floor well while finishing for multiple fast break opportunities. Utilized his longer strides to his advantage in different scenarios on both sides. He finished with an underhand scoop layup at the rim in traffic for a bucket and showed quality fluid feel on the perimeter as well. Heisler pushes well in transition with the ball and made well timed passes on the break. He showed toughness and body control around the cup after providing dribble drive action. Scored it on a really difficult finish off the glass from about 7 feet in traffic. Neal did a little bit of everything throughout the day as I got to see him compete in 2 full games on Team 11. A versatile guard with size who can handle the rock and score it in bunches. He consistently got steps on the defender while attacking the rim hard. Showed just as much perimeter game as well as he tallied for at least 4 3's at a high clip in the team's last game of the day. With his size he brings rebounding value to the front court as well. Defensively talked on screens and overall had keen awareness of the game with advanced feel. Merriweather stays engaged defending on a ball handler and will help rush offenses to an uncomfortable pace. He crashes the glass consistently and helps push for transition opportunities. Impressed with the way he competed for 50/50 balls while playing until the whistle.
