New Additions of Forwards in the New 2028 Rankings

Here is a look at a group of forwards and posts who are new additions to the updated rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2389804' first='Lucas' last='Thompson'] (De Smet):</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3737894' first='Jordan' last='Addison-Crowe'] (Barstow): A skilled 6'6" forward who is a big addition to the Spartans after his transfer from Triad (IL). He is a solidly built young player who uses his strength and footwork to score in the low post area. His fadeaway jumper in the mid-post area is very effective. He can also step out and stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting. He is accurate from distance with his quick release.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3737897' first='Alton' last='Goodwin'] (St. Joe Benton): A 6'6" southpaw forward who is a very solid player who uses his size and good positioning in the low post. He is a very good rebounder at both ends and a capable shot blocker as well. He also runs the court and plays with a strong motor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3737907' first='Jay' last='Goodpaster'] (Pembroke Hill): A 6'5" power forward who is a blue-collar player with his physical style of play inside. He does a great job of establishing his position and holding it in the low post. He can play bully ball in the low post or he can finesse defenders with his footwork. He is also a fine passer from the high post area. He crashes the offensive boards with good second and third efforts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3738012' first='Ben' last='Englemeyer'] (St. Elizabeth): A 6'6" forward who is an excellent small school talent in the Mid-Missouri area. He is an offensive load in the low post with his size and physical strength. He catches the ball well and he scores with a nice touch around the basket. He uses his physical strength and good footwork to out-maneuver bigger players inside. He has a nice shooting touch around the basket to finish.
