Why? Bentley Ellis Bentley Ellis 5'10" | PG/SG Scott | 2029 State TN , coached by his father Brent Ellis at Scott High, will be integral this upcoming season. During the PrepHoopsTN Combine he showed the capacity to handle the pill and distribute. His shooting touch was fine, but not fully demonstrated in large part because the event was filled with shooters. Ellis will be a bit undersized unless he tacks on some weight in the coming year. Ellis debuts in the Top 125 in a class filled with quality guards. The Highlanders won 19 games last year and look capable of repeating that despite rival Clinton's loaded squad.

Patrick Meyers III Patrick Meyers III 5'9" | PG McCallie | 2029 State TN is an interesting piece for McCallie, a team deeper than deep at the guard position. He is behind a young star Jarris E Walker Jarris E Walker 5'10" | PG McCallie | 2029 State TN , maybe also Yoda McGill Yoda McGill 5'10" | PG/SG McCallie | 2029 State TN ? But Meyers III creates many problems with the basketball in his hands and defends with the urgency and agility of a cornerback.

In fact, Walker walked away with Young Player MVP thanks to his poise, quickness, and dribbling. You will hear a lot about him in the coming months and years.
