2026 PH Oregon Sophomore ID Camp - Team Eight Scouting Report

The PrepHoops Oregon Sophomore ID Camp took place last Sunday and this week, we will take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player-by-player. Here's a look at Team Eight.    Davis is a quick, crafty guard who is fun to watch with the ball in his hands. He used his handle to create opportunities as a slasher and consistently attacked the defense. Davis loves to compete and brings that same energy defensively, showing the ability to be a solid on-ball defender. In the game we watched, he led his team with 16 points.     Smith, a hard-working combo guard who brought a team-first approach to the floor. He competed with good energy, played within the team, and showed promising potential with his versatility in the backcourt.     Jamison is a quick combo guard who can impact the game as both a shooter and slasher. He showed a solid outside shot while also using his quickness to attack the basket and put pressure on the defense.     Hagerman displayed that his athleticism can make an impact in multiple areas of the floor. He showed the ability to knock down shots from the outside while also using his size and athleticism to rebound effectively. Hugo has intriguing potential with his combination of shooting, size, and athletic ability.     A competitive wing player who was a team player and made sure his teammates were involved. He played with good effort, contributed wherever needed, and showed promising potential with his ability to impact the game from the wing.     Renice is a left-handed scorer who can make an impact from multiple levels on the floor. He showed the ability to knock down three-pointers, get to his mid-range game, and finish at the rim through contact. Davis also brought a team-first approach, giving him a well-rounded offensive skill set.     Powell is an explosive, athletic forward with good length who thrived playing downhill and attacking the rim. He's a strong slasher, especially effective in transition, using his athleticism to put pressure on the defense. Powell also showed a strong basketball IQ and consistently made smart plays within the flow of the game. His combination of length, explosiveness, and overall feel made him one of the best players we saw at the event.     Maul displayed how he is a patient combo guard who plays with good control and rarely looks rushed with the ball in his hands. He showed a solid mid-range game, nice touch around the rim, and the ability to convert from the free-throw line. Maul's ball control and patience allow him to find his spots and play within the offense.     A hard-working player with good length who brought a team-first approach to the floor. He showed the ability to knock down shots from the outside and plays with consistent effort. Anderson has promising potential with his shooting and willingness to contribute within the team.
