<p class="text-gray-700">If I were to give a Hustle Award from the Kentucky Freshman Showcase, Jacob would surely be a candidate. He made it his mission to outwork his opponent, picking his defender up full court on several occasions. His team relied on his pesky tendencies to generate scoring opportunities for others. On the other end of the court, he found success knocking down open shots when he caught them in rhythm.</p>

He sprinted the full length of the court in fast break situations to secure offensive rebounds every chance he could. Roby was also prone to dive after loose balls, oftentimes creating plays out of thin air. His positional size paired with his heightened level of hustle make for an intriguing prospect moving forward.</p>

The Tigers will have plenty of upperclassmen talent in its guard positions this upcoming season, but Jake is surely a name to store away for the future.</p>

He'll have time to work on his stop-and-pop shotmaking as his career develops but he proved to be reliable in catch-and-shoot situations when given space.</p>
