Summer Recap: 5 PF/C Standouts

Here at PH NorCal we've had time to reflect on the top 5 PF/C's who played well throughout the Summer. Going into the regular high school season these 2027 post prospects will attract attention from college programs at the DI Level    After a breakout Summer with Team Lillard 3SSB. Ahamefule just finished competing with his U18 Great Britain mates at Eurobasket 2026. Averaging 14.pts, 5.6 rebounds. One can argue his expanding skill set, handling, 3-point shooting, and movement makes him a productive perimeter player. With that being said, he possess the kind of physical play, improving footwork, and touch around the rim that makes him a difficult player to defend in and around the post area.       Hahn has been on an upward path for a while. He's made himself known as a rising prospect on the West Coast with his consistent play on the 3SSB Circuit averaging 21pts, 10 rebs, earning first team at 3SSB Championships. He's a proven inside out threat, can knock down open 3's if left open, he's an excellent passer. He's more than willing to mix it up inside with his growing body to initiate and handle the physicalness of the game inside. He plays with an edge.     He's the closest prospect we have in NorCal that fits as a true Center in NorCal. We saw the improvement at Cali-Live this Summer. He'll continue to add muscle to his 6'11 frame. He showed he would shoot the open 3-point shot on occasion. His post activity continues on the upswing, his size, and length gives him post presence on defense. With improving hands to catch, a wide body with improved footwork on the block, he can be an effective post option scoring or passing.     Standing 6'9 he's bulked up, but still adding muscle to his frame. He's put in the work to improve his physical play in the post on both sides of the ball. He knows his strengths, while continuing to polish up other areas of his game. He has good activity in the post on the defensive side of the ball. He has court awareness, can block and change shots, plays with effort defending his size in the paint. His offensive production should tick up at this level with a stronger body, improved footwork.     All signs point to a breakout season for Camara. He seems to be a better conditioned prospect ready to log quality minutes anchoring the post. He's a solid body that can have post presence, with shot blocking abilities. He's improved his footwork and patience around the rim, showing balance, and power going up off one or two feet in traffic. He'll have plenty of dunks, but has improved his touch in the paint.
