Six Prospects to Watch at the Freshman Showcase – Part Two

This is always the best event that we put on every year and is a very valuable resource for both our scouting staff and the players who attend. Class of 2030 prospects from around the state ensure that they are on the radar heading into their respective freshman seasons. Meanwhile, we get to build our database with over 100 names early on in the process and evaluate many of the top incoming freshmen under one roof. The talented 6'0" guard had a great summer with Hoop Club and averaged 8.0 points per game at the varsity level with Evansville Memorial at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. The 6'1" guard has impressive physical and athletic tools for his position at a young age. He should be able to step in right away and be a go-to offensive threat. An incoming freshman at Charlestown High School, Odle recently participated in the well respected Battle of the Bridges event and had a strong summer with Indiana Elite Southeast 14u. Overton should be one to watch right away at the varsity level for what will be a pretty good Evansville Mater Dei team. The 6'5" wing/forward had a great summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 14u and checks a lot of boxes both in terms of physical tools and skill level. Robbins was a big piece of everything BNL did at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He has a unique blend of positional size, fluid athleticism, and skill for a player of his age. The 6'1" guard has good positional size and is a solid athlete. He had a lot of success when we were watching getting downhill to the rim and finishing at the end of his drives.
