SD Class AA Breakout Players

There are always a ton of players that put in alot of time for the upcoming season, weight room/individual skills work/open gyms/team camps and spring and summer AAU Ball. Not all of them can be mentioned in one article but we think we have found a few that could definitely have big seasons contributing to there teams in one or multiple ways. In this article we will highlight some players that could definitely be major breakout performers, some that have already made some noise and names for themselves but are ready to take on even bigger roles this upcoming basketball season. Jerren is a grid iron stud but on the basketball court hes an extremely effective combo guard who will take on a larger scoring role this season. Can step out and shoot the three or attack the basket if being overplayed. Always a willing passer as he logged alot of assists last season for his team. Strong athletic guard who does whatever the team needs. Brings toughness to the position for his team. Combo guard with good size and can score at all levels. Had some big games last year and will have many more this upcoming season. Sweet looking catch n shoot stroke. Has next to elite athleticism for the position with the strength to match making him a difficult matchup for opposing teams. Unselfish teammate that will have some games this year he will end up just taking over and definitely has the ability to do so. Young gun ready to step up? Aggressive mindset on both ends of the floor. This kid doesn't play like hes gonna be a freshman, he has the skill set of an advanced sophmore at this point. Smooth shooting release (gets alot of friendly bounces because of this), understands defenses and is able to get his team organized quickly. Great crossover and change of pace, is able to beat defenders easily most the time and once he does if he doesn't get to the basket for scores he has the ability to find open guys for good looks. Nice all-round pg for the Patriots who is only getting better. Salty on ball defender who plays hard and leads by example. Nice looking shot and should look to shoot a bit more this season. Unselfish pg who gets everyone involved and does a great job of seeing the floor in transition and anticipating open teammates. Does a nice job getting down hill quick and has shown a nice middy two foot floater. With the graduation of 6 seniors Noah will definitely have an expanded role this upcoming season on offense and defense. With good size/athleticism he will be asked to guard alot of the opposing teams best guards. Crafty skills set on offense thats only improving with more court time and experience he sees i dont doubt that all of his offensive outputs will greatly jump this year. Solid/strong 6'0 pg from Brandon who has a big 🎒 of offensive tools at his disposal. Sniper from three, catch and shoot threes are almost automatic. Quick 1st step off the catch and one of the most physical drivers to the basket at the position you will find. Has ability to finish in style with both hands. His strength gives him the ability to guard much longer and taller guards.
