Prospects Who Played Their Way Into 2029 Ranking Update

Our latest ranking update brings several players into focus after strong performances at the showcase. This group made a compelling case for movement, whether through dominant frontcourt play, steady point guard leadership, offensive versatility or defensive intensity. Some have been on our radar for a while, while others made their first real push into the conversation. With the season approaching, these performances gave us plenty to consider as we evaluate where each prospect belongs and which players could continue climbing in the rankings. Mackley has earned his way into the rankings after showing enough flashes to believe his stock is trending upward. His ability to impact the game beyond the paint is what makes him especially intriguing. He rebounds with purpose, quickly gets the ball moving and has shown a willingness to become a playmaker in transition. Those traits give him added value as he continues developing his offensive game. We are excited to see how Mackley builds on these flashes throughout the upcoming season. With more consistency, confidence and opportunities to showcase his versatility, he has a chance to make another significant jump in the rankings Hagaman has emerged as a new name in the rankings after showing the type of interior presence that caught our attention. His combination of size, length and soft touch gives him a strong foundation to build from as he continues developing. He consistently competed around the basket, finished through traffic and found ways to create extra opportunities on the offensive glass. His activity and physical tools also translated defensively, where his length helped him disrupt plays and control rebounds. We are excited to see Hagaman take the next step this season. If his confidence and consistency continue to grow, his ranking could keep climbing James is a new name to our rankings after making a strong impression at the showcase with his energy, competitiveness and ability to consistently impact the game. What we like most is his willingness to do the little things, as he plays with a high motor and finds ways to contribute without having to be featured offensively. He also showed some offensive upside by confidently taking shots and not forcing anything instead looking to be a complete playmaker. That combination has us excited about his trajectory. We will be watching to see how his skill set develops and whether his production can match the intensity he brings every time he steps on the floor Krasniqi is a new name in the rankings after showing us a physical style that immediately stood out. We liked his willingness to embrace contact, establish position and make his presence felt on the interior. He has the size and strength to create problems around the basket, particularly when he gets comfortable playing with his back to the hoop. There is still room for his offensive game to grow, but that is part of what makes him intriguing moving forward. We are excited to see how his footwork, touch and ability to expand his scoring package develop, as added skill could make him a tough frontcourt matchup Vivian made enough of an impression at the showcase to earn a spot in the rankings, and his defensive activity was a major reason why. He brought consistent pressure on that end of the floor, using quick hands and anticipation to disrupt possessions and turn those plays into opportunities going the other direction. His ability to generate steals and finish in transition gave him a natural way to contribute without needing the ball or a set play designed for him. That type of impact is valuable, especially for a young prospect looking to carve out a role. We like Vivian as a new name to watch and are excited to see how his defensive identity develops this season Ramig gave us enough to believe he belongs in the conversation, earning a new spot in the rankings after a productive showcase. His perimeter touch was one of the first things that stood out, as he looked comfortable stepping into shots and showed the confidence to make teams pay for giving him space. We also liked the way he stayed involved when the ball wasn't in his hands, particularly his willingness to chase down rebounds and make plays outside of his scoring role. That combination gives him a promising starting point. We are excited to see how his shot translates to a bigger role and how much more he can add to his overall game this season
