Arkansas' 2028 group is loaded with upside, but three prospects have built résumés that already read like early blue‑chip profiles, with national camps, high‑major offers, circuit production, statement games, and momentum that's climbing fast. These are the three players whose bodies of work stand tallest right now. Keep us updated on ALL prospects over on “X“ and “Instagram,” just tag @PrepHoops_AR & @VortexSportsArkansas.

Anthony Spratt Jr | 6'5" / 190lbs | Wing | ESPN 4-Star | 3.4 GPA | Arkansas High School Basketball 2024-2025 5A State Champion

Twitter/X: (@SprattAye05) / X

Instagram: Spratt.Aye05 / IG

YouTube: ESPN #22 Prospect! Anthony Spratt Jr 2028 6'6 Benton High School, Arkansas (Brad Beal Elite EYBL)

Spratt's résumé already reads like a kid built for the national stage. One of only 15 players in the entire country recently invited to Damian Lillard's Formula Zero Elite Camp, he's firmly stamped as a blue‑chip name in the 2028 class. College coaches clearly agree, as he's sitting on offers from Miss State, USC, Texas A&M, Auburn, Mizzou, Georgia Tech, Fresno State, and a growing list of others.

He backed it all up with a monster sophomore year at Benton High School (Benton, AR): 22 PPG, 8 RPG, 3 APG, 1 SPG, 1 BPG, plus a full sweep of honors, claiming 5A South Player of the Year, All-State, All-Conference, All-State Tournament Team, and a Gatorade POY finalist. With production, winning, and consistency he checked every box.

On the EYBL stage Spratt didn't skip a beat. Running with Brad Beal Elite, he averaged 14 & 5 on 50% from three at Session 2 in Memphis. Session 3 was where he really popped with a 28‑piece vs Legynds EYBL (Trae Young & Blake Griffin's new squad), followed by 26 & 7 vs Team Herro. Across 13 games, he finished as the 8th‑best 3PT shooter on the entire EYBL circuit, hitting 29/67 (43.3%) from deep. He has shown it doesn't matter for him... big games, big moments, big platform, same result every time.

Spratt's blend of size, shot-making, and poised competitiveness makes him one of Arkansas' most nationally validated prospects in recent memory... and he still has 2 full seasons of basketball left!

[player_tooltip player_id='2397948' first='Elijah' last='Bryant'] | 6'3" | Guard | North Little Rock High School

Twitter/X: (@ElijahB2028) / X

Instagram: Nawfside_eli1 / IG

YouTube: NLR vs LRCA goes to the wire | Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2397948' first='Elijah' last='Bryant'] battles 5 star Arkansas commit JJ Andrews

Elijah didn't just introduce himself last season, he kicked the door in. The buzz started early when he dropped 34 points on LRCA in a matchup with 2026 standout (and now Arkansas Razorback) JJ Andrews, and the moment went viral across Arkansas hoops. After the game, he doubled down with the quote that lit the fuse statewide: “I know he's a 5‑star… I'm a 5‑star too.” From there, his name didn't just circulate it caught fire, and he kept the flame lit.

Bryant kept stacking performances that demanded attention, and the noise climbed from Arkansas high school gyms to college offices across the country. He earned offers from UCA, UAPB, Iowa, Arkansas, plus interest from several more Division I programs. Coaches weren't just intrigued. Now, they were actively trying to get ahead of the curve.

His summer was supposed to be another breakout stretch with Legynds EYBL, but a jumper's knee diagnosis shut him down and forced a rehab-first approach. Even with the setback, the momentum around him hasn't necessarily slowed. When a kid climbs this fast, this early, and this loudly, you start asking bigger questions like how high is the ceiling, and does the injury change anything at all? Bryant's rise has already proven he's built for the spotlight, and the next chapter might be even louder.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DYvJ-BFJroK/

Brain Cal Jr. | 6'0" / 160lbs | Point Guard | Rivals 3-Star Recruit | 3.8 GPA

Twitter/X: (@Jr_pg_1) / X

Instagram: showtime.jr1 / IG

YouTube: Brian Cal, Jr. Interview | adidas 3SSB Ladera Ranch | 04.25.26

Cal Jr. has become one of the most automatic bucket-getters in the entire 2028 class and the numbers back it up. He finished the Adidas 3SSB 16U season as a Top‑10 most efficient scorer on the circuit, putting up 18 PPG while rarely wasting a possession. Every game, every setting, every matchup… the scoring translates.

At 6 feet, he's one of the most polished three‑level guards in the class. Inside, outside, mid‑range, he's got a full bag: floaters, step‑throughs, layups, pull‑ups, step backs, and all the crafty counters that make smaller guards nightmares to contain. When Cal Jr. has the rock, you can almost count the production before the ball crosses half-court.

His game is set to take him overseas as a USA representative at the Shanghai Future Stars Championship, as his national profile continues to rise. He's currently a 3-star prospect in the 2028 class, with offers from Morehead State, UCA, UALR, and UAPB, and more eyes turning his direction as he keeps stacking efficient outings.

https://twitter.com/BoysBenton/status/2071951867861471258
