As the AAU season is winding down, most camps and leagues are crowning champions. This showed a high level of athleticism immediately. Later on, he got on a fast break where he did throw down a 360. He's uber aggressive when attacking the rim. Countless times, he would get past the perimeter defense and get a dunk or lob attempt. Wesley-Kam did show an ability to stretch the floor, hitting multiple threes off the catch. Defensively, he's athletic enough to alter shots around the rim. At 6'4, he's a versatile athletic defender who can guard 1-3 on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='3582992' first='Devin' last='Suggs'] was one of the best players this weekend in Tampa. Suggs is a playmaking guard who can really score from all three levels. When attacking the basket, Suggs is crafty and can finish through contact. He's a fun watch, as it's not abnormal to see a reverse layup or double-clutch. Suggs really excels in the mid-range area with faders and pullups. When off the ball, he has a knack for getting open on the perimeter, where he can hit threes efficiently off the catch. What really opens up Suggs' game is his playmaking ability. He keeps the defense on their toes with his scoring ability, but Devin is a true floor general who excels in setting up others.

Ranney was the best shooter I saw this weekend. He's a pain to guard without the ball in his hands, as he is constantly moving and coming off screens. [player_tooltip player_id='3664451' first='Ethan' last=''] showed limitless range, nailing threes from the top of the key. He plays incredibly well through the offense, and shows a lot of IQ on the offensive side. Once Ranney got the defense to tightly stick to him, he was able to show his dribbling and finishing ability. He was impressive with his left, especially when in traffic. Normally utilizing a euro step, [player_tooltip player_id='3664451' first='Ethan' last=''] finished at the rim, either getting a foul call or an and-one.

[player_tooltip player_id='3664451' first='Ethan' last=''] Spier impacts the game in a multitude of ways on both ends of the court. Offensively, Spier shows range from the perimeter and can elevate over defenders. He regularly sets up the offense, being a captain on the court. Spier was impressive with his passing ability, whether it was a bounce pass to a cutting defender or a skip pass to rotate the defense. Defensively, he has active hands and can impact opponents on the drive. Spier is also athletic enough to stay in front of opponents, playing good 1v1 defense. Going into his junior year, Spier will almost certainly rise in rankings.

#5 for Counted Out Reapers

I don't normally write about players that I can't find the name of. However, #5 for the Counted Out Reapers was maybe the best overall player of the camp. He's a tall wing who has the length to really disrupt opposing offenses. Where he really shined was with the ball in his hands. After hitting a side step three to start the game, he quickly hit a step back three where he dropped the defender. Using his size, he's able to shoot over defenders at an efficient clip. He was extremely physical when driving, putting his shoulder into defenders regularly. Overall, he plays with a lot of heart and intensity, diving for loose balls and going for rebounds.
