NW Super 24 NXT WAVE Finals - More Top 2027 Performers

The final weekend of the Hoopsource NW Super 24 NXT WAVE took place the last Saturday and Sunday of July, where the circuit's top 15U, 16U, and 17U/18U squads assembled at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA to determine the champions. We had the opportunity to drop by on both days to watch a number of games in the tournament bracket - including the 17U finals - and here's a look at some more of the top performers from the Class of 2027.    We've certainly become accustomed to seeing Kittleson knock down the corner three - after all, it's somewhat a specialty of his. So while the rising Portland Christian senior guard did hit one from deep, the majority of his offense actually came off strong attacks to the hoop. He capably got downhill into the lane fast and converted a number of those drives, some through contact. When it was all said and done, he had recorded 18 points and also dished out a handful of assists.     The offense was certainly there for Hardges as he joined the [program_tooltip program_id='2850997' first='Cascade' last='Kings'] (Zeke) for the Super 24 as the rising senior recorded 18 points on a variety of jumpers and drives to the hoop. But what always impresses us about the Parkrose guard is his attention to defense and his ability to guard multiple positions. Despite the up-and-down nature of the game, he was always locked in on his assignment and guarding the paint, he recorded two memorable blocked shots. Solid work on the boards too with 5 rebounds.     If Aho isn't a key contributor for Barlow this upcoming season, we would be extremely surprised. The rising senior finished off a big summer with a bang, notching 25 points in a number of different ways in Identity Basketball's win over Net Worth Basketball to finish out the tournament. We're always intrigued with guys who can nail mutiple threes and throw down multiple dunks in a single game, and Aho did just that.     One of the beauties about Olvera and his game is he can nicely fit into any situtation. So despite the fact he was a go-to guy in his previous stops on the club circuit, there were no issues with him melding right in with his new teammates with Identity Basketball. The rising senior forward didn't force the issue and picked his spots offensively, played hard on the boards, and worked hard on the defensive end. His overall contributions spoke louder than the raw statistics of 11 points in a the team's final win of the tournament over Net Worth Basketball.     He didn't necessarily have the biggest or flashiest overall numbers in the games we watched Identity Basketball but there is no question Muzzy was one of the most eye-catching prospects to college coaches in attendance at the Super 24. With his 6-foot-4 size, length, ball skills, and versatility, the rising senior certainly intrigued many with his ceiling and potential as a potential lead guard at the next level. He's definitely one to watch this upcoming season at Barlow.
