[player_tooltip player_id='3723982' first='Lameck' last='Hassan'] (Romeoville)

The 6'10” five man broke out recently at the Trainers Collective workout where our scout Steve Parham wrote about him “A high-impact newcomer to keep an eye on, Hassan looks the part of a college-ready big man physically at 6'10. He dominated the interior as an instant glass cleaner, rim protector, and vertical lob threat. Hassan operates cleanly as a functional roll man in pick-and-roll sets, using his frame to set hard screens and finish plays above the rim. While still developing his overall feel for the game, his physical tools and physical profile give him an exceptionally high floor alongside quality guard play.”

[player_tooltip player_id='3686052' first='Peter' last='Chojniak'] (Northridge Prep)

Chojniak is HUGE! That was apparent when I saw him in person in late June, but he was fighting through a back injury that happened his play. Parham saw him earlier in the month and had rave reviews at the Romeoville Pre-Live Event saying, “The fundamentally sound big man operates almost exclusively around the paint and excels at keeping things simple and efficient. He scores with jump hooks, reverse pivots, and strong positioning around the basket. Peter also showed good awareness as a passer when double teams arrived and consistently put himself in position to rebound. His coordination and strength prevent defenders from pushing him off his spots.”

[player_tooltip player_id='3673856' first='Paxton' last='Meadows'] (O'Fallon)

Meadows caught my attention at the Lindenwood team camp in June playing with O'Fallon. I remember multiple times saying last year I wish I could see more of that kid (Meadows) when watching O'Fallon because when he did get on the floor there were flashes from the long and lanky big man. Moves pretty well up and down the floor along with displaying touch around the cup.

[player_tooltip player_id='3724137' first='Danny' last='Lange'] (Fenwick)

Friars are going to be an intriguing team to track this season with a couple of seniors and a ton of young prospects. Lange is kind of the bridge between them. At 6'6” he has solid size as a four with good length. The southpaw has a sweet hook shot and can run the floor. Flashed some handles from the mid-post as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='3724139' first='Clark' last='Roush'] (Naperville North)

Probably will end up going football route, but we liked enough of what we saw from the undersized 6'4” post to believe he would be a really nice small college hooper with his shooting from beyond the arc along with strong frame rebounding in the paint.
