Florida's 2029 class is loaded with talent, and several prospects used the summer to prove they're ready for bigger roles heading into their sophomore seasons. These five players have shown the skill, versatility, and upside to make significant jumps this year.    Hyatt's handle is among the best in Florida's 2029 class. He consistently shifts defenders out of position and gets wherever he wants on the floor. It's obvious that Hyatt has spent countless hours working on his ball handling, and it shows every time he takes the court. He is a true lead guard who takes care of the basketball, creates quality opportunities for teammates, and is more than capable of creating his own shot when the offense needs it.     Udeh is a versatile forward who brings a strong interior presence while also stretching the floor with his shooting. He has developed into a reliable catch and shoot threat, forcing defenses to respect him on the perimeter which opens up driving lanes for teammates. Udeh also flashes impressive athleticism, running the floor well in transition and finishing above the rim. Now headed to Olympia, he looks ready to take another major step in his development.     Triggs is a dynamic scorer who thrives creating offense off the dribble. He can stop on a dime for pull up jumpers in the midrange or create enough separation to knock down contested threes. His ability to collapse the defense also allows him to find open teammates when help defenders collapse. Defensively, Triggs competes every possession and isn't afraid to pressure opposing guards 94 feet. After an outstanding summer, he heads to Fleming Island with plenty of momentum.     Simpson is an up and coming guard whose all around game continues to improve. At 6'2, his length allows him to defend multiple positions while consistently contesting shots and even coming away with blocks. Offensively, Simpson plays with great fundamentals. He attacks the basket under control, finishes through contact, and always keeps his eyes up to make the right read when teammates get open. His versatility gives him a high ceiling heading into his sophomore season.     Lester is an athletic guard who brings relentless energy on both ends of the floor. His defensive instincts and quick hands generate steals that quickly turn into transition opportunities, where his speed allows him to beat defenders to the basket for easy finishes. He has also shown flashes of being a knockdown shooter, and as his off the dribble scoring continues to develop at Trinity Christian Academy, Lester's offensive game should continue to expand.
