Finale in the Valley – 2029 Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Finale in the Valley from Flight Club Tournaments took place this past weekend and we had the opportunity to drop by Clackamas High School to watch a number of games from the Varsity, 17U/16U, and 15U divisions. Pressure Elite captured the Varsity title, McCaffrey won 16U, and City Red took home the trophy in 15U. Defenders couldn't stay in front of the rising Jefferson sophomore with the ball in his hands as he used his incredible speed, quickness, and crafty ball-handling to burst past opponents on forays into the lane. Davis made great decisions with the ball, either scoring underneath over bigger players or dishing it out to open teammates for scores. The rising Glencoe sophomore ran the floor well which led to a number of transition buckets, but his effort on the offensive glass allowed him often multiple chances at putbacks. Standing 6-foot-4 with a rock-solid build, he was able to create space for himself with his stature in the paint and upon establishing position he used footwork and a soft touch to finsh plays. The rising Nelson sophomore could also position himself on the perimeter and knock down shots with his lefty shooting stroke. The rising Westview sophomore has a mature build with athleticism already at his age and was very effective scoring both around the hoop and knocking down mid-range jumpers.
