Named the MVP of the 15U division at the Finale in the Valley, it was well-deserved for Davis. Defenders couldn't stay in front of the rising Jefferson sophomore with the ball in his hands as he used his incredible speed, quickness, and crafty ball-handling to burst past opponents on forays into the lane. Davis made great decisions with the ball, either scoring underneath over bigger players or dishing it out to open teammates for scores. He hit a big three late in the title game win, finishing with 16 points and 6 assists, and was a defensive demon throughout with the pressure he put on opposing ball-handlers.

A long and lanky athlete, Thompson showed a great motor that made him difficult to keep up with. The rising Glencoe sophomore ran the floor well which led to a number of transition buckets, but his effort on the offensive glass allowed him often multiple chances at putbacks. He was one of the top rebounders at any age division that we watched at the Finale in the Valley and was a shot-blocking threat on defense.

Lattimer proved to be a matchup problem for most opponents at the Finale in the Valley. Standing 6-foot-4 with a rock-solid build, he was able to create space for himself with his stature in the paint and upon establishing position he used footwork and a soft touch to finsh plays. The rising Nelson sophomore could also position himself on the perimeter and knock down shots with his lefty shooting stroke. He was solid on the glass and held his ground defensively too.

We only got a one-game glimpse of Wright playing with Bridgetown Ballers, but it was a good one. The rising Westview sophomore has a mature build with athleticism already at his age and was very effective scoring both around the hoop and knocking down mid-range jumpers. We are looking forward to seeing more of him at the upcoming PrepHoops Sophomore ID Camp.
