1.) 2027 Casey Hanson (Southeast Valley) -- 144

Hanson was the lynchpin of one of the better offensive attacks in 2A last season, with the Jaguars averaging 68 points a game and Hanson dishing out more than six helpers per night. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of his playmaking, however, was the 2.57 assist-to-turnover ratio.

2.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2521847' first='Nolan' last='Fichter'] (Pleasantville) -- 130

Speaking of impressive assist-to-turnover ratio, Fichter posted an eye-popping 3.82 ratio in his sophomore campaign. He's not a big-time scorer, averaging just 4.5 points per game, but on a team with several big-time scorers, he doesn't need to be. Instead, he does a great job setting the table for his high-powered teammates.

3.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2906470' first='Colton' last='Lindsay'] (West Central Valley) -- 105

A 5-7 lead guard, Lindsay stuffed the stat sheet as a junior for the Wildcats, averaging 11.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 3.2 steals per game. He's really quick with the ball in his hands and sees the floor at a high level.

4.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2523908' first='Jaxen' last='Christiansen'] (Northeast) -- 102

Christiansen proved as a sophomore that he's not just a scorer, dishing out more than four assists per game to go with his lofty 21.6 point-per-game scoring output. He's one of the most skilled offensive players in the class and looks primed to have a huge junior year for the Rebels.

5.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='3650803' first='Trey' last='Steinkamp'] (Pella Christian) -- 100

Steinkamp is a shifty, creative lead guard with good size at 6-3, which allows him to see over his defender a majority of the time and set up his teammates. He'll be leaned upon heavily as both a scorer and playmaker in his junior year following the graduations of the other top five scorers from last year's team.

6.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419800' first='Tyce' last='Van Donge'] (Unity Christian) -- 97

Another top-10 returnee list, another Van Donge appearance. A 6-4/6-5 combo forward who can do a little bit of everything on the hardwood, he'll be arguably the best player in the class this winter, stuffing the stat sheet on both ends of the floor on a nightly basis. His ball-handling and vision are rare for a young player with his size and interior skill set.

7.) 2027 Jaizik Miller (Spirit Lake) -- 91

Miller isn't a big scoring threat, averaging just 5.3 points per game as a junior, but he knows his role and plays it well, dishing out more than four assists per game for the Indians. He has good vision and handles it well.

8.) 2027 Dawson Spies (Hinton) -- 90

Spies is a pass-first guard with excellent court vision and the ability to squeeze passes through tight windows to set his teammates up. He's the only returnee among the top nine scorers from last year's team, so he'll be asked to become more of a scorer as a senior which he showed some ability to do last season (6.8 points on 42-39-75 splits).

9.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2724157' first='Quintin' last='Honn'] (Denver) -- 88

Honn is a quick 5-11 guard who puts constant pressure on opposing teams with his ability to play downhill and get the defense to collapse before finding an open shooter or cutting teammate. He paces a Cyclones offensive attack that is always among the most explosive in 2A.

10.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2824178' first='Amari' last='Armstrong'] (Estherville Lincoln Central) -- 85

A strong, quick 6-2 guard who uses his physicality to his advantage in getting to his preferred spots off the dribble, Armstrong does a good job setting the table for his teammates as well as serving as one of the team's top defensive options.
