He has enough touch and confidence to make defenses account for him every trip down the floor, and when he mixes pace, shot prep, and the ability to attack out of shot-fakes he becomes more than just a one-action player. His playmaking flashes showed that he has the ability to impact the game beyond scoring. Beyond his potent perimeter scoring he can see the floor, move the ball, and make simple reads that keep the offense organized. He has good size and length and his ability to impact possessions on both ends of the floor with is length was obvious. His rebounding, contesting shots, defending, and activity plays are the separator right now until his overall inside and out offensive game comes together. When he stays connected to his best trait which is attacking off the bounce and lets the game come to him instead of chasing plays, he is a player who puts constant pressure on the defense and showed he can get to the rim at any point of a possession. As his skill package becomes more consistent and the motor shows up on every possession the flashes that are seen will become more habitual. He does a good job competing at the point of attack, as he takes his matchups personally, and makes ball handlers uncomfortable. He is not just guarding to survive; he is guarding to disrupt. Offensively, he brings value as a slasher and is at his best when he is attacking gaps, getting downhill, and using his toughness to create paint touches. He sees the floor well, can deliver the ball on-time and on-target, and has the type of feel that helps teammates get easier looks. His passing is not just simple ball movement; he has real setup ability and understands how to create angles.
