2027 big Drew Bartell has several college options

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Six-foot-6, 235 pound big [player_tooltip player_id='3091354' first='Drew' last='Bartell'] averaged 16.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists a game as a junior shooting 62 percent from the field and 48.3 from the arc for a team that finished fourth in state at 25-4. I really enjoyed playing with [program_tooltip program_id='3612975' first='Kansas' last='Select'], and playing for Carter Reid, who is high energy and makes sure I know I need to fix something. Constantly being around guys who want not only themselves to be better, but the team, and ultimately each individual on the team to be better was a highlight for me."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The goal now is for Bartell is to prepare for both his football and basketball senior seasons at Hesston High School. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I hope to get leaner, quicker, and more explosive in preparation for basketball season," Drew said. For football, Benedictine College, Butler, and Coffeyville CC have offered Drew, and in basketball, McPherson College and Bethel College have offered. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I've been in close contact with McPherson College and Bethel College, I've also been talking with Newman University, and Northwestern (IA)," Drew said about basketball interest. "I've visited McPherson, Bethel, and Northwestern. I haven't scheduled any, but am hoping to get out to Southwestern (KS), and Newman.
