2026 PH Oregon Freshman Showcase - Team Five Scouting Report

The PrepHoops Oregon Freshman Showcase took place on Sunday and this week, we will take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player-by-player. Here's a look at Team Twelve.    Hall, who was one of the taller prospects at the Freshman Showcase, standing at 6'4”, used his size effectively on both ends of the floor. He was at his best attacking the rim, where he played through contact and looked to finish strong around the basket. Hall also showed a solid mid-range game, giving him another way to score when defenders cut off his drives. He rebounded well for his position and used his length and physicality to make an impact on the glass.     Jibril, a skilled 5'8” combo guard, brought a team-first approach to the floor. He showed his ability to be a solid outside shooter who stretched the defense, while also showing creativity off the dribble to create opportunities. Mohamed did a good job finding his teammates and making the extra pass, giving him value both as a scorer and facilitator. His unselfishness and ability to play within the flow of the offense made him an effective backcourt piece.     Nguyen, a 5'8” point guard out of Camas, Washington, played with good pace and control in the games we saw him play. He has a nice touch around the basket and a solid handle that allows him to create off the dribble. Nguyen's quick first step helps him get past defenders and put pressure on the defense. He's a composed guard with the ball in his hands who can create opportunities for himself while providing a steady presence in the backcourt.     Sathish was a confident guard who made an impact as a pull-up shooter. He did a good job breaking down defenses off the dribble and creating space to get to his spots. Sathish played with confidence when looking for his shot and has a smooth, good-looking shooting stroke. His ability to create off the bounce and knock down pull-up jumpers makes him tough to cover.     Kam stood out as the leading scorer in the game we watched, using his quickness to make a consistent offensive impact. He knocked down shots from the perimeter while also using his speed to put pressure on the defense. Brown was active on the defensive end as well, coming away with a couple of steals. His combination of scoring, quickness, and defensive activity made him one of the more productive guards on the floor.     Tolendo showed he was a high-effort player who brought heart and a strong work ethic every time he stepped on the floor. He played within the team, made unselfish decisions, and didn't try to force the action. Around the basket, Tolendo showed nice touch and the ability to finish when opportunities were there.     Green was a creative guard who made plays off the dribble and kept defenders off balance. He has a quick first step that allowed him to get downhill, along with a solid handle and the ability to operate with either hand. Green also showed a nice pull-up jumper, giving him another scoring option when defenders take away the drive.     In the limited time we saw Wes play, he showed he was a hard-working two-way player who found ways to make an impact on both ends of the floor. He's a good athlete who plays with energy and competes on every possession. Offensively, Knutsen can contribute as a scorer, and his effort and athleticism translate well to the defensive end. His motor and willingness to compete made him a valuable presence on the floor.     Mead-Roberts is a high-energy competitor who brought intensity whenever he stepped on the floor. He showed the ability to knock down perimeter shots while also being an effective scorer around the basket. Mead-Roberts plays with a strong motor and isn't afraid to compete, finding different ways to contribute offensively.
