Sleepers in the 2027 Recruiting Class

There are plenty of college prospects in Virginia's 2027 recruiting class but here are a handful of prospects that deserve an uptick in their recruitment heading into the fall.    Lacey had a productive summer with VA Havoc. The rising senior has positional size and is capable of being a three level scorer. He is a better than average athlete and certainly a college level prospect in the 2027 class.     Alvarado-Gallego is a talented, playmaking lead guard with good quickness. He can get into the paint and is a creative finisher with either hand around the rim. The rising senior is a solid open shot maker from beyond the arc and looks capable of running a team at the collegiate level.     Ridgeway showed some versatility at the offensive end for Riverside this summer. He can make an open shot from beyond the arc and is a capable finisher in the paint. The rising senior is plays with a high motor, has a good feel for the game and is a productive rebounder from the perimeter.     The Virginia Academy product is a productive, athletic, strong, hard playing forward. He is most effective from 15 feet and in but continues to improve his offensive skill set. Maglocky is a combo forward in the 2027 class that college coaches should take notice of.     King is a very athletic wing with positional size that is planning a post-grad year at Hargrave Military. He can really get downhill and is excellent playing in transition. The senior has ball skills and shooting ability that are improving and has all the physical characteristics to be a high level defender.
