Rising Senior Summer Standouts (Part 2)

With the July live recruiting periods completed, several rising seniors from Georgia's non-sneaker circuit teams took advantage of the opportunity to perform in front of college coaches and boost their recruiting profile. Here's a look at some of the top summer standouts.    One of the top players in the Savannah area, Rice starred for Gold Elite this summer on the On The Radar Hoops circuit. An athletic wing with positional size, Rice is a lefty with good strength who can score at all three levels. He plays with a high motor, is a capable perimeter shot maker and really competes at the defensive end of the floor.     Hill impressed with Georgia Legacy during the first July live period at the Elite 32. The rising senior is a sharp shooting guard with who can play with or without the ball in his hands. He has deep range on his jump shot and efficient footwork and good shot preparation allow him to have a quick release. Hill has an ability to finish in the paint in a variety of ways and has become a prospect that we will include in our next rankings update later this month.     Hall is a quick, shifty lead guard who stood out playing for Hoop Savannah. He is tough for defenders to contain off the dribble and is equally capable of making perimeter shots from beyond the arc. The rising senior has a good command of the basketball and has earned a higher rankings in our updated 2027 Player Rankings that will be released later this month.     Charleston was a standout at the GBCA event in June with Seckinger High School and continued his successful summer with Norcross Heat in July. The rising senior is an athletic, attacking, aggressive left handed wing who can really get downhill and attack the rim. He plays with a high motor, is a productive rebounder and can fill a stat sheet to help his team win.     Reid a sharp shooting, left handed guard who impressed in July with BCB. The rising senior has good footwork and a quick release, which helps make him a consistent shot maker from beyond the arc. He also has enough foot speed and ball skills to drive closeouts and get into the paint to create scoring opportunities for himself or others. One of the top shooters in the state, expect college coaches to be tracking Reid this fall.
