Quartet of 2030 Post Prospects Pop at The Tune Up Illinois

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em><br><br>The class of 2030 is making its way into high school!&nbsp; At The Tune Up: Illinois we were able to evaluate some of the top incoming freshman and we dive into them here in <strong>The Tune Up: 2030 Posts</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Larnell Smith (Meanstreets EYBL)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith jumped off the floor when we saw him with the 14U squad.&nbsp; The 6'7” center has a ton of intriguing physical tools with his size, length, and mobility.&nbsp; Offensively he was at his best finishing out of the dunker spot, getting on the offensive glass, and stretched making one three.&nbsp; Defensively he walled up inside impacting shots along with swatting several others.&nbsp; The King post is a name we will be keeping tabs on!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mamadou Baker (Team FVV)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Super bright future for this incoming freshman at Rockford Guilford.&nbsp; At 6'6” already he stands out as a fluid post with length and projectability.&nbsp; Effective offensive rebounder that did a nice job getting on the glass in the game we saw.&nbsp; Offensively he had some nice moves including a reverse layup displaying impressive footwork.&nbsp; Also hit a pair of threes which at this age makes him a coveted prospect early in the process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kamarion Sandifer (Mac Irvin Fire Smith)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sandifer is one of the better power forwards we have seen early in the process among 2030 prospects.&nbsp; High energy four man is now headed to Morgan Park after originally committing to Simeon.&nbsp; What makes him so special is the high energy he brings to the table.&nbsp; Plus plus athlete that makes it look easy getting up and down the floor.&nbsp; Spin moves in the paint and acrobatic conversions on a regular basis.&nbsp; Snatches rebounds in traffic on both ends, but is so quick to the ball on the defensive side.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tre Johnson (Mac Irvin Fire Black)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson has legit size at probably about 6'6” already.&nbsp; The body type and physical tools remind me a little of Nate Ament.&nbsp; The ability to shoot it from three with a clean stroke while also impacting the game on the defensive end as a shot blocker on the back end jumped out in both games we saw.&nbsp; He will be playing at Bloom.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Dezmon Wyatt (Mac Irvin Fire Black)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wyatt is an above the rim athlete from East St. Louis who brings a ton of length and pop off the floor.&nbsp; He was a beast playing off the offensive glass, running the floor, and catching lobs.&nbsp; Explosive on the boards with his quick second jump.&nbsp; The 1 percent athleticism impacts defensively as a pogo stick shot blocker who also had active hands getting steals while showing he could handle some in the open floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
