Conor Kerrigan is hearing from a host of D1 schools

He enters a big July competing with one of the most respected programs in the nation in [program_tooltip program_id='2078454' first='KC' last='Run GMC'] and there is a lot to accomplish. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"For the rest of the summer the ultimate goal is to win the Under Armor Circuit but also I want to make some final memories with my teammates and end my AAU career on a good note," Conor told Prep Hoops. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"The 17u season has gone well so far. With Run GMC we are 7-1 and are in a very good spot heading into July when we have our last session in Atlanta and our finals in Louisville. My favorite highlight so far is beating Mountain Stars. We had never beat them since I have played for Run 15u year."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kerrigan is also a name that has commonly been discussed on college coach meetings. Schools will see him in July and they also saw him recently in the high school open period. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"For Shawnee Mission South we finished 13-0 on the summer and won the Kamo shootout and went 4-0 in the Midwest showcase. This summer gives me a ton of hope going into my senior year to hopefully make it back to the state championship and win this time."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And what schools are in contact? </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"Right now I hold offers from Northwest Missouri State, Washburn, Oral Roberts, and UMKC and have interest from other schools including Colorado State, Northern Iowa, Davidson, Morehead State, Canisus and Eastern Michigan. After AAU is done I will start to take visits with schools that have offered me or hope will gain interest in me from these last two sessions and ultimately make my decision this fall."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Conor has taken one visit already.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I have taken an unofficial up to UMKC to watch practice and talk to Coach Turgeon and have spoken to Oral Roberts and Northern Iowa about taking a unofficial in late July after my sessions but we are waiting after Under Armor finals to schedule them."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And what type of player are these schools recruiting?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I would describe my game as someone who loves to rebound and has a crazy motor but has been expanding his game to the perimeter.
