ArKings (48) vs PPA Legends (38)

Recap: PPA kept it within the 10-15-point range in the first half. Their size and athleticism wore down PPA as the game went on. The Kings were able to pull away in the second half, winning comfortably despite a late run from PPA, 48-38

Player of the Game: Colton Prince (ArKings) - Prince did a little bit of everything offensively against PPA. If he wasn't crashing the glass, getting putbacks, he was attacking the rim at an efficient rate. Standing at 6'1. Prince is a strong guard who powers through defenders when attacking. That strength is also used defensively, as he's a great defender with a strong work ethic.

ArKings (35) vs ArMagic (34)

Recap: From the jump, this game was incredibly intense. The Magic play an extremely tough full-court defense, and the Kings match it with strong athletic guard play. It was a back-and-forth game the entire time, with the Kings squeezing out the championship win.

Player of the Game: Colton Prince - All weekend, Prince was impressive for the Kings. He matched the Magic's defensive physicality and even raised the bar at times. Colton hit the game-winning shot, driving to the basket and finishing a physical layup over a stout Magic defense.

Chaos Elite (36) vs PPA Legends (46)

Recap: PPA dominated the boards all game, getting many easy buckets. As the game wore on, shot-creating from PPA guards came too much for Chaos to overcome. PPA played with a lot of passion this weekend and was a tough out for anyone.

Player of the Game: Kayden Stone - Stone was a disruptive defender and was always in the passing lanes, causing havoc. He played with the same intensity on the offensive side. Stone was always the first one to congratulate a teammate or help him up. He was an overall great team leader and led PPA to a first-round win.

Playmakers (49) vs. NEA Surge (41)

Recap: This was another fun one to cover, as both teams went back and forth all game. NEA Surge is undersized but spaces the floor well, and everyone is a shooter. Though bigger, Playmakers also hunt for threes. Ian Cribb was lights out from the floor, leading the Playmakers to the win.

Player of the Game: Ian Cribb & Gabriel Miller - The Haas Hall teammates make up a lethal backcourt for the Playmakers. Miller is a nice floor general who spaces the floor well. Cribb is a lethal shooter who always finds a way to get open.

ArKings (49) vs Playmakers (37)

Recap & Player of the Game:

Quote from ArKings coach Bryson Bauer on who stood out in the championship game.

“It was a mix between 2-3. If I had to narrow it down, I'm bragging on my backcourt. Bailor Tate and Dawson Lively strive under pressure; there's not a moment too big for them. I told them in the huddle that they would go on some runs, but to chip away and win one possession at a time. Those two came in clutch; Jace Holt was huge on the defensive end, leading to easy transition points. Hayden Jones started us off early and showed some character throughout the game. Aidan Hodges made some big plays down the stretch. I could brag on all the guys; it was truly a group effort; when adversity hit, they battled and fought for the brother next to them.”
