2029 Rankings Prospects Trending Top 30

PH NorCal Class of 2029 seems to have a quality group of players trending up within the top 30. Theses are prospects that have put in good work throughout the Spring, Summer and the month of June playing high school ball.    He was a Varsity reserve with limited action last season. West has had an eye opening Spring and Summer playing on the UA 15U Circuit. He's an athletic wing/guard type that gets to the basket slashing or off the dribble, he finishes strong, handles contact might dunk one if he gets a clear path in transition. He's improved his ball handling, gaining the confidence to attack when the opportunity presents itself. He'll get his rebounds, seems to be on the verge of being a quality defender. He's a court runner, and shot ready.     He played up 16U for the Spring and Summer. He transferred to Archbishop Mitty where he'll continue to sharpen his point guard skills as well as do other things off ball. He's got a good shot, range squares up for 3's around the perimeter on the catch, or coming down in rhythm for a transition 3ptr. He's a quality ball handler, can get into the paint for short jumpers, handle bumps on the layup, finish different ways around the basket.     He transferred to Sac High in Sacramento. He'll team up with other top players in the 2029 Class. He's a crafty point guard, lots of shake and bake, freezes defenders, changes direction, gets by often into the paint for drive and kicks, layups, floaters, paint jumpers. He keeps his dribble live, moves the ball around the perimeter. He'll shoot open 3's. He can tighten up on ball handlers, cause pressure, might get a steel, helps trap up top. He's fast in transition, has a nice pull up off the dribble.     He's working under the radar, we've seen him in the Spring playing 15U where he shows he can put the ball in the net in different ways. He has the handles, and speed to create off the dribble, knock down shots, comes around screens to drop 3's. He keeps his dribble live to get into the paint for jumpers. He's shown point guard skills but is often relied upon to score.     He has the makings of a 3 and D type of player at the high school level while he continues to develop his all around game. He's made progress, has gotten stronger, he'll grow a few more inches. He squares up for catch and shoot 3's, can get into a rhythm working along the perimeter. He's making the effort to become a better defender, and help with the team rebounding. Good upside.
