2029 Initial Rankings: Players Ranked 61-70

Hans is part of a strong 2029 class at Norwalk, and despite not getting any varsity run as a freshman, he should become a key piece in the rotation as early as this season. He has good size and length on the wing, which he uses effectively on both ends of the floor. He can play with or without the ball in his hands offensively, creating shots off the dribble or knocking down shots off the catch.     Kennedy's 2029 class is absolutely loaded, and Kucera will be a big part of it for the next three years. He has good positional size at 6-3, can score from all three levels, and has the requisite size, length, IQ, and athleticism to defend multiple positions.     Johnson played sparingly as a freshman for the Wildcats, appearing in 11 games and taking 11 shots on the season, but he's an intriguing young prospect with good size, athleticism, and some rim protection. He was a contributor for a Martin Brothers 15U team that won the UAA championship and should step into a much bigger role for Carlisle as a sophomore.     Smith averaged 6.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game as a freshman, showing his ability to stuff the stat sheet. He does a nice job setting his teammates up, one of just two regulars to post a positive assist-to-turnover ratio last season for the Hawks.     Elliott was really good as a freshman for the Trojans, averaging 12.7 points and 2.1 assists, shooting nearly 43% from the 3-point line, and posting a 2.04 assist-to-turnover ratio. He's small, listed at 5-8 last season, but he's quick, fearless, and clearly talented.     DeStigter appeared in all 25 games for the Wolfpack as a freshman, averaging 3.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game while shooting over 37% from the 3-point line. His perimeter shooting and activity on the defensive end, with his length and IQ playing a big part, are his biggest assets at this stage.     The next in a long line of Mattes boys to come through Newton, Brennan is a combo guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands. He shoots it well off the catch, can create plays off the bounce, and is a scrappy on-ball defender. He appeared in just one varsity game as a freshman, but should become a key rotation piece this season.     Pittman may be one of the best on-ball defenders in the 2029 class. He's tough, lightning-quick, and has great hands that he uses to pick opposing ball-handlers clean. He has a tendency to get opposing players sped up with his tenacity on the defensive end, and when young guards get sped up, good things tend to happen for the defense.     A highly active 6-5 big man who can really rebound the ball on both ends of the floor, Yates was a standout throughout the spring and summer with Court 45. He passes it well out of the post and the high post, seeing the floor well, and he finishes really well around the bucket with either hand. He's capable of stepping out and stretching the floor. He may never be a star player, but he does a lot of little things that winning teams need, and he understands his role.     Another piece of a deep Hempstead 2029 class, Grant is a quick guard who really gets after it on the defensive end of the floor, making opposing ball-handlers work hard to get anything going. Offensively he's a pass-first guard who does a good job putting pressure on opposing defenders with his speed, and he loves to set his teammates up.
