2028 Rankings Update Newcomers

PH NorCal has updated the Class of 2028 Rankings. We've add more than 50 new prospects to our NorCal rankings in this class. These newcomers enter the class rankings because of their play on the court.    He's still in the learning stages of the game. You can see the gradual improvements he's made to the center position at this level. He's 6'10, has length, strength, and improved movement, and awareness. His defensive presence in the paint will get him some court time. He's has a ways to go, but can be a contributor with continued post development on both ends.     We got our first look at Anderson during Cali-Live. A good size post defender, has awareness, boxes out. He'll work side to side posting up, or make his way to the high post for passing. He found several cutters to the basket, has ball reversal, sets solid screens. He's still developing his offensive post moves.     He's a growing body, has a frame to get stronger, an aware post defender. He moves his feet, uses his lengthy arms to extend along with footwork moving side to side making it tough to feed the post. He'll take it up strong off two in the post. He's a good post passer from the high and low post, a screener, takes care of the ball. He's still developing his offensive game.     A pass first point guard with speed, and quickness. A good ball handler with vision. He's quick off the dribble going to the basket. He's shown he can run the offense, has patience up top, keeps his dribble live, move the ball around the perimeter. He'll shoot open 3ptrs. He hustles back on defense, stop the ball, can stick with most speedy ball handlers.     An active defender, long arms, quick feet, has lateral movement to stay with quicker ball handlers, lengthy arms to defend and distract shooters. He might get a steal or deflection. He gets up court fast to fill lanes for transition layups. He jumps pretty well can get his shot off around the basket, he'll plant, go up after making a cut.     He has a good skill set, handles the ball in transition at times, makes good passes around the perimeter, lots of cutting and moving without the ball. He can square up and make perimeter 3's. He has good awareness on defense, moves to help off ball. He'll play low and high post, make cuts to the basket. He helps rebound.     He was one of the top players on his JV team last season. He'll probably start and contribute right away on the Varsity. He's along active wing type prospect, has the length and timing to block shots. He rebounds, can bring it up court at times. Standing 6'5 and growing he's good on both ends around the basket. He'll get his fair share of buckets in the paint. We'll keep an eye on him.     A two sport athlete, will probably play football at the next level, he can be an effective big in the paint. He's a big body with good movement on the court. He's mostly a screener and passer, but does roll to the basket, gets position, doesn't mind the banging inside. He plants, balances himself and goes up off two feet for points in the paint. He'll move bodies to get rebounds, make good passes.
