Friday is an efficient scorer who uses his size and physicality extremely well around the basket. He has excellent touch around the rim and consistently converts difficult finishes through contact. His ability to establish deep position and create paint touches allows him to generate offense without needing a high volume of shots.   What stands out most, however, is his feel for the game. Friday is a capable passer who sees the floor well and does a great job finding teammates when defenses collapse on him. He also rebounds at a high level and impacts games in several different ways beyond scoring. As his game continues to expand, don't be surprised if he emerges as one of the more talked-about frontcourt players in the class.     Few guards in Virginia can match the speed and explosiveness that Jemell Smith brings to the floor every time he plays. The Cristo Rey point guard is one of the quickest players in the 2028 class and consistently uses that speed to create advantages on both ends of the court.   Smith is extremely effective attacking the basket and putting pressure on defenses. Once he gets a step on his defender, he is difficult to stay in front of, and his ability to finish or create opportunities for teammates makes him a constant threat. He is also one of the better passers in the class, showing advanced decision-making in ball-screen situations and consistently finding open teammates.   Defensively, Smith's quickness becomes even more valuable. He creates havoc with his on-ball pressure, forces turnovers, and speeds opposing guards up throughout the game.
