Stock Risers: New PG/CG Prospects Added to the 2028 Rankings

The spring grassroots season provided an opportunity to evaluate hundreds of prospects across the state, and several members of the Class of 2028 made significant strides in their development. Whether through improved skill sets, increased production, physical growth, or strong performances against high level competition, these players elevated their stock and earned a place in our <a href="https://prephoops.com/georgia/rankings/2028-rankings/">Updated 2028 Rankings</a>.    Gans-Lartey was one of the more impressive lead guards we evaluated this spring while playing for Hoop Atlanta on the UA Rise Circuit. A quick, attacking point guard, he consistently puts pressure on defenses by getting downhill and finishing effectively around the basket. He has a knack for drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line, where he converts scoring opportunities into efficient points. Beyond his scoring ability, Gans-Lartey shows good vision and decision making, creating quality opportunities for teammates and demonstrating a strong feel for the game. He plays with confidence, competes at a high level, and has earned a reputation as a worker who continues to improve. His combination of quickness, playmaking ability, and basketball IQ makes him a prospect trending in the right direction.     Wilburg is a quick, attacking lead guard who thrives in transition and plays with tremendous pace. Possessing high level speed in the open floor, he is difficult for defenders to contain once he gets downhill and consistently creates pressure on opposing defenses. A creative finisher around the basket, Wilburg uses his quickness, body control, and touch to score effectively in traffic. He is also a capable passer who sees the floor well and can create opportunities for teammates. Defensively, he plays with energy and activity, applying pressure to the ball and making plays with his anticipation and effort.     Kilgore is a quick lead guard who put together a strong spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2362177' first='Sewer' last='South'], emerging as one of the program's more intriguing young prospects. He handles the basketball with confidence, changes speeds effectively, and does a good job keeping defenders off balance while creating opportunities off the dribble. Despite his youth, Kilgore already possesses good strength, which helps him absorb contact and play through physicality. His perimeter shooting continues to improve, adding another dimension to his offensive game.     Rusnak is a heady lead guard who consistently stands out for his basketball IQ and understanding of the game. He has an excellent feel for the point guard position, makes sound decisions with the basketball, and does a great job controlling pace and keeping his team organized. Rusnak is a skilled passer who sees the floor well, anticipates openings, and delivers the ball accurately to teammates in scoring positions. He is also a capable perimeter shooter who can make defenses pay when left open. With his combination of court vision, ball handling ability, and decision making, Rusnak is a point guard prospect who continues to trend upward in the 2028 class.     Sullivan is a skilled and versatile backcourt prospect who has the ability to play either guard position. A three level scorer, he can knock down perimeter shots, create offense in the mid range, and attack the basket effectively. He possesses a good feel for the game, makes smart decisions with the basketball, and understands how to impact winning in a variety of ways. Sullivan plays with toughness and confidence, consistently competing on both ends of the floor. He does a good job getting into the paint, where he can finish, draw contact, or create opportunities for teammates.
