Rockford East Summer League: More Impactful 2028's

Rockford East High School is hosting their annual summer league during June on Monday Nights. I had the opportunity to see nearly a half a dozen of the 17 teams that are playing in the league. We just sounded off some of the 2028 point guards that had good showings. Now we'll jump into more c/o 28' prospects who also made impacts for their respective teams regardless of their position.    Athletically fit to fill a 3 or 4 spot dependent upon program need with a good sized frame. Pushed after defensive rebounding for good reasoning. Gets downhill with plus speed in the open floor to initiate quick hitters. Settled but effective handle beyond perimeter. Will post at times to gain positioning around rim. Can guard multi-positionally on defense. Fearless of banging downlow to win plays. Upside is here and should see continued growth over next 2 years.     One of the harder workers I saw tonight from an interior paint present standpoint. Stuck with play throughout vs more size and athleticism. Helped clean up the garbage down low. Tallied him for at least 4 offensive rebounds and then got fouled each time to get to the stripe. Strong frame that competes throughout. Pops because of the way he battles and endures physical nature of game. Will provide a lot of spark and energy around rim. <s> </s>     Intriguing forward that brings balance and poise from inside and out. A bit broader frame with passing touch and plus vision. Effective of ball screener and sealer away from the action to create opportunity. Found a back door cutter for an assist while remaining patient on the catch in multiple phases. Gains advantage on interior because of size and mobility. Posted up multiple times beating defense to location or enduring physicality down low. Patient operator in ½ court setting. Challenges on both sides.     Another backcourt guard for Indians that will remain a tough out. Plays with an edge and toughness demeanor. Helps speed game up alongside other guards. Runs in transition at a solid rate and had multiple fast break buckets beating defense down the floor. Finishes effectively around the hoop with poised feel. Disciplined and hard nosed who helps team compete on both ends of the floor while making valuable effort plays.     Have not seen Stokes compete since last Summer but his game has climbed from various skill sets. A 3 and D prospect who offers versatile scoring and length while being able to guard multi-positionally. Made a tough dribble drive to then spin move and pump fake up and under against more size. Got into shot off ball screens or in catch and shoot scenarios. Diverse finisher in lane.  Has built some more toughness and edge to game. Overall a 3 level scorer that competes and likes to meet the challenge.
