One of the quicker players that I watched, over the weekend, Dolly's ball handling and ability to finish in the trees was a sight to behold. Not the biggest player on the court, Dolly used a nice variety of spin moves and crossovers to get to the hoop, at will, and at one point, when caught up in the air, he threw the ball to himself, off of the backboard, and laid it in past two stunned defenders.

This was my first time watching McClellan play and I came away impressed not only with his handles but also his playmaking ability. Smooth, physical player who knew when to make the extra pass or call his own number and get to the rim initiating contact in the process. Defensively he used great anticipation and active hands to jump the passing lane resulting in several open court layups and highlight reel behind the back passes to teammates.

Ogi, a 6-1 incoming freshman, from Kewaskum, stood out as one of the more complete players that I watched on both sides of the ball. Offensively he showed true three-level scoring ability utilizing a smooth handle to get to his spots, including to the rim, where he showed he could finish comfortably with either hand. When tightly contested, he showed a nice mid-range game and proved he could consistently knock down 20-23 foot jumpers. Defensively he used active hands resulting in probably 4-5 steals per game as well as great athletic ability, and great timing, to block or alter several shots.

6-5 Thornton stood out, not only for his size, but also his overall feel for the game. Big, physical "point forward" type who used good body control not only in dominating the glass but also in running his team's offense where he did a nice job of keeping his head up and also looked to make the best play often resulting in easy layups for alert teammates.

Goldmann, a relative unknown coming into the weekend, certainly turned some heads with his showing in Appleton. One of the shiftier players, with the ball, Goldmann showed very fluid body control, getting to the rim, where he used his physicality to initiate contact and finish over and through the defense. He was also a nightmare to keep off of the boards, on the offensive end, using great anticipation and athleticism to finish off several putbacks.
