Nike Elite 100: Monday Morning Skills Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The <strong>Nike Elite 100</strong> kicked off on Monday morning with a skills session where players focused on their skill development along with a little live action.&nbsp; Here is a quick look at 10 players that stood out!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Stra Zelic (Wasatch Academy, UT – 2028 – Utah Prospects)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zelic impressed from the moment he stepped on the floor standing at 6'11” with great length.&nbsp; First thing that stood out was how well he moved on the defensive end.&nbsp; Great moving his feet, fighting through screens, dropping, and protecting the rim.&nbsp; Excellent rebounder snatching them in traffic and is great defensively.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Igniire Muhammad-El (Warren Lincoln, MI – 2028 – The Family)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Muhammad-El is a long and lanky wing that wins on straight line takes, finished in the pick and roll, and had a nice block from the weakside.&nbsp; Bouncy prospect!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Terry McKinney (Millenium, AZ – 2028 – Vegas Elite)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Super lanky prospect that proved he could shoot it from the perimeter along with knocking down baseline jumpers.&nbsp; Hit cutters on the move as well dishing the rock.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Owen Eteuati-Edwards (Arcadia, CA – 2028 – NW Rotary)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>High-motor and athletic wing that flew up and down the court.&nbsp; Plays bully ball when needed going right through a taller defender for a bucket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kyle Sanders (Campbell Hall, CA – 2028 – Vegas Elite)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This five man is tall and super long.&nbsp; Big time rim protector that blocked shots at a nice clip in limited live action.&nbsp; Quick 2^nd jump to the glass and high pointed rebounds in traffic.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Braylen Alexander (Central High School, AL – 2029 - Nightrydas)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'3” Alabama product can really shoot the basketball.&nbsp; Knock down shooter who buried shot after shot spotting up and from the corners.&nbsp; Big time shot maker!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>JJ Sati-Grier (Sierra Canyon, CA – 2028 – Team WhyNot)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At 5'11” Sati-Grier is one of the smaller guards at camp, but kid has game!&nbsp; Slick bounce pass hitting his man on the move, drained threes both pulling up along with spotting up, and has a nice passing feel off live dribbles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Landon Lampley (Pike, IN – 2028 - Meanstreets)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pike wing is a big and athletic small forward with broad shoulders and a frame he can continue to add strength.&nbsp; Showed some stuff on the defensive end in the morning contesting shots and pushing off the defensive glass with his handles in the open floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Xavier Skipworth (Montverde, FL – 2028 – Team Takeover)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'4” shooting guard is a plus plus shooter with a nice frame.&nbsp; Ball comes off his hands with ease knocking in the three ball, spin moves into a pull up mid-range jumper, and is a lethal shot maker.&nbsp; Liked how he rebounded on the defensive end in traffic.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Javez Coleby (Veritas Academy – 2029 – Team WhyNot)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coleby goes 6'8” 222 pounds and looks like he will be able to impact at the college level on day 1 which is still several years away.&nbsp; Rim running big man that catches lobs, rebounds at a high level in traffic, and was a phenomenal shot blocker in the little we saw during the morning session.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
