Michigan State Tournament: Sunday Stars

Over the weekend, Kale was playing up a grade with the Toledo Thundercats 2031 team, and he more than held his own. Against LAU Elite, he seemed to be the only player consistently generating offense for his team. He was excellent around the rim, finishing through and around bigger defenders multiple times. Kale also pushed the pace in transition, making smart advance passes to open teammates for easy scoring opportunities. He showcased his tight handle as well, repeatedly breaking down defenders and getting to the basket. Kale is a true offensive threat with a bright future. Tremain is a lengthy guard who brings relentless energy on the defensive end. Against the Toledo Thundercats, he was everywhere in the passing lanes and constantly pressured the ball, making life difficult for opposing guards. Offensively, he was effective attacking the basket and finishing around the rim. His spin move was especially impressive, as he used it multiple times to create space and score. Tremain is a physical two-way guard and a finisher that any coach would love to have on their team. saiah did a little bit of everything for the Blue Water Hurricanes against the DITV Jokers. The Jokers simply had no answer for him when he attacked downhill. He consistently drew contact at the rim and finished through it, converting several tough and-one opportunities. Isaiah also made a major impact on the glass. Whenever he secured a defensive rebound, he immediately looked to ignite the break and create transition opportunities for his teammates. Isaiah is a do-it-all guard with a high ceiling.. Christian Broyles is a lengthy, crafty guard who impacts the game in a variety of ways. Around the basket, he finished several acrobatic layups that showcased his creativity and body control. Defensively, he was a lockdown perimeter defender, consistently disrupting D3 Nation's offensive rhythm. While he finished with 15 points against D3 Nation, that number doesn't fully capture his impact, as he excelled in all the little areas that help teams win. Christian is a player to keep an eye on moving forward. Tayden caught fire from beyond the arc against the Battle Creek Bulldawgz. He showcased his shooting ability early, knocking down three three-pointers in the first half. His quick release and smooth shooting mechanics make him a dangerous threat from the perimeter. Beyond his scoring, Tayden made his presence felt on the offensive glass, creating numerous second-chance opportunities for his team. Defensively, he was active as well, getting deflections and disrupting the Bulldawgz' offense. Tayden is a two-way sniper with a lot of potential.
