Tayden Langdon
About Tayden
Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Langdon can really shoot the basketball. The 6-foot-2 guard has one of the prettiest releases you’ll find and is as consistent as it gets from three-point range. During last week’s open gym, he got up tons of shots and hit them at a high clip. He also knows how to drive closeouts and has really excellent feel when it comes to finding teammates for easy layups and shots. Langdon will have a hard time cracking the rotation of the top team, but he’s probably a scholarship player because of how well he shoots the ball.

Tayden caught fire from beyond the arc against the Battle Creek Bulldawgz. He showcased his shooting ability early, knocking down three three-pointers in the first half. His quick release and smooth shooting mechanics make him a dangerous threat from the perimeter. Beyond his scoring, Tayden made his presence felt on the offensive glass, creating numerous second-chance opportunities for his team. Defensively, he was active as well, getting deflections and disrupting the Bulldawgz’ offense. Tayden is a two-way sniper with a lot of potential.

I love this kids’ energy and how he competes. Hustling all over the floor, high motor and super athletic. He can shoot from deep, communicates well, can help handle the ball with sufficient skills. The qualities I really enjoyed watching were his IQ, upside and the physicality he brings. He doesn’t shy from contact no matter the opponents size.
