As the rising juniors step into the spotlight, the June Live Period will be the first opportunity for many of them to step into bigger roles. Here's a snapshot of one of the deeper position groups in the class:

[player_tooltip player_id='2450968' first='Kai' last='Abplanalp'] | 6'4 F 2028 Salesianum

Abplanalp is strong as an ox and glue guy at the forward spot. Extremely agile for his size, he wins with instinctive cuts to the hoop, making plays off-the-catch, and offensive rebounds, then plays through contact to score. The mobile forward also extends advantages by getting into the lane off of closeouts then kicking the ball out for a corner three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2613087' first='Conner' last='Brennan'] | 6'7 F 2028 Wilmington Friends

Bringing physicality to every phase of the game, Brennan operates out of multiple spots on offense and protects the rim on defense. On top of shooting the ball from distance, he can put the ball on the floor and power his way to the hoop for two. He plays with an attitude in the paint too, pulling down rebounds on both ends, scoring in the low post, and rejecting shots on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2815764' first='Kohen' last='Gaines'] | 6'5 F 2028 MOT Charter

Improving rapidly, Gaines offers a lot of modern skills for a forward. He flirts with a double-double most games thanks to his sound footwork when he cleans the glass and gets post touches. And his ability to space the floor is complemented by his passing feel as a hub in the middle of zones, rolling off of screens, and on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='3558199' first='Bryce' last='Joseph'] | 6'5 F 2028 Glasgow

Still finding his way in the game of basketball, Joseph does at least one thing really well – block shots. With his long arms, he effectively targets the ball at its highest point and manages to keep it inbounds. A pretty flexible athlete, Joseph can even switch on the guards and hold his own in space, where he slides his feet and contests jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622948' first='Sona' last='Mukwele'] | 6'4 F 2028 Middletown

What Mukwele may lack in height he makes up for in motor – he can't be outworked. He's a powerful athlete with strong hands that he uses to dig at the ball and to snatch away rebounds. Likewise, he'll use his broad shoulders to dish out contact on his drives or to create separation for a touch shot in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='3634816' first='Landon' last='Victory'] | 6'5 F 2028 Caesar Rodney

A multi-sport athlete, Victory glided up and down the court, making winning plays along the way. He selflessly sneaks past and/or jumps over other players to secure rebounds on both sides of the ball and leaps high in the air to swat shots in the paint. Then when his team has the ball, Victory races off-ball to score on cuts and putbacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='3660597' first='Richard' last='Werigbelegha'] | 6'9 C 2028 St. Mark's

New to the area, Werigbelegha is a bonafide rim-runner and shot-blocker. On rolls to the basket and when he needs a quick dribble, he throws the ball down with force over defenders. Werigbelegha also runs the floor well to capitalize on fastbreak opportunities.
