<h3 class="wp-block-heading">7th Place Game: Oak Ridge Military Academy vs. Chatham Central</h3>

<p>Chatham Central and Oak Ridge Military Academy opened things up on Day 2 of the Battle at BCS Jamboree. Both teams felt each other out early in the 7th Place Game as the scored lurched to 3-3 before a 3-pointer from <strong>Turner Albright </strong>made it 6-3 in favor of Chatham Central with 16 minutes left in the half. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2853161' first='Grey' last='Milam'] </strong>made his presence felt on Day 2 by scoring the first five points for ORMA. With 11:29 left in the first half, things were all tied up 10. Then, ORMA went on a run.</p>

<p>A barrage of 3-pointers from ORMA would open things up as [player_tooltip player_id='2278321' first='Jamir' last='Loftin'] and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2853161' first='Grey' last='Milam']</strong> got hot from deep. ORMA went up 16-10 with 10:35 left in the first half, sparking a timeout from Chatham Central as well. With five minutes left, the lead grew to 22-12 following another barrage of 3-pointers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3670054' first='Brooks' last='Albright'] </strong>would stop the run at 27-15 with a breakaway layup but ORMA would finish the half strong with two more 3-pointers from <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2853161' first='Grey' last='Milam'] </strong>to make it 33-15 at the half.</p>

<p>In the second half, ORMA kept their foot on the gas, opening up the half on an 8-point surge to boost the lead to 41-15. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2853161' first='Grey' last='Milam'] </strong>stayed hot as they continued to build the lead. At 12:02 left in the game, they led 47-23. Milam would go on to make nine 3-pointers and finished with 35 points as the Eagles cruised to a 71-27 victory. [player_tooltip player_id='2278321' first='Jamir' last='Loftin'] finished with 19 points on five made 3-pointers as well.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">5th Place Game: Uwharrie Charter Academy vs. Providence Grove</h3>

<p>Uwharrie Charter Academy and Providence Grove took each other on in the fifth place game and it didn't disappoint. It looked like Providence Grove would pull away witn an 8-5 lead before UCA turned up the defensive pressure and sparked a first half run. At 10-10, the Eagles sparked a 12-4 run to jump out to a 24-14 with 3:51 left in the first half.</p>

<p><strong>Ryder Jones</strong> would end the run with a lay-in at 3:15 but UCA would keep pushing and end the half with a buzzer beater from halfcourt by [player_tooltip player_id='3670077' first='Justyce' last='Lawson'] to make things 31-18 at the half. In the second half, UCA would keep their foot on the gas and continue to build their lead.</p>

<p>They led 36-18 just two minutes into the half and the lead grew to 40-20 with 14:28 left. With 10:47 left, they led 49-22 and halfway through the second frame, it was 49-25. Providence Grove would try to shorten the deficit but with 1:18 left, the lead was too steep at 58-35. UCA would go on to win the game 62-38.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3rd Place Game: Morehead vs. Rockingham County</h3>

<p>Rockingham played possessed following a tough loss on Day 1 opening up with a 7-0 run to spark a Morehead timeout with 17:35 left in the first half. Nearly halfway through the first frame, Rockingham led 17-6.</p>

<p>Morehead would keep things close with their 3-point shooting but Rockingham would continue to apply pressure. They built the lead to 23-9 with 7:38 left in the first half. </p>

<p>The Panthers would use offense from <strong>Isiah Abdou</strong> to keep within distance as he knocked down three 3-pointers in the first half. At the half though, Rockingham led 31-17.</p>

<p>Rockingham would turn things up in the second frame as [player_tooltip player_id='2884625' first='James' last='Thomas'] got going. He got paint touches and kicked the ball out to <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3670229' first='Camden' last='Lee']</strong>, who knocked down four 3-pointers. </p>

<p>Things would get testy as Morehead turned up the defense but Rockingham would respond and increase their lead to 58-40 and cruise to victory.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Championship: Oak Grove vs. Bethany Community</h3>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2853156' first='Quentin' last='Leach'] got the Wolves on the board first as BCS took a 2-0 early lead. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2884654' first='Lathan' last='Pruitt']</strong> got the offense going for Oak Grove and in the early stages, it was 3-2 with 16 minutes left in the first half. </p>

<p>While BCS struggled on offense, Oak Grove found theirs as it was [player_tooltip player_id='3670222' first='Jaiden' last='Summers'] to the rescue to get things going. Oak Grove built an early 9-4 lead with 11:30 left in the first half.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2884677' first='Easton' last='Voltz'] would stop the scoring drought though and make it 9-7. Oak Grove would answer right away though, and make it 11-7. It looked like Oak Grove would run away with things as the lead grew to 17-9 but BCS would shrink the deficit to three points following a timeout.</p>

<p>Oak Grove led 17-14 with 3:36 left in the first half. Back to back 3-pointers from Grayson Treadway would make it 23-18 with less than a minute left. [player_tooltip player_id='2884654' first='Lathan' last='Pruitt'] woke things up once again to close out the half with a free throw to make it 25-18. </p>

<p>The Grizzlies opened the half on a 7-3 run, capped off by a 3-pointer from [player_tooltip player_id='2884617' first='Carson' last='Cromer'], and triggering an early timeout from BCS with 18:04 left in the game. Oak Grove led 32-21. </p>

<p>The lead would grow to 16 points at 39-23 with 12 minutes left in the game. The run would continue and the lead would grow to 45-23 with 9:20 left and trigger another timeout from BCS as it was all Oak Grove.</p>

<p>Oak Grove makes it back to back Battle at BCS Jamboree championships with another victory 60-39. </p>
