Adidas Jr. 3SSB National Championships: Day 3 Recap

Rock Hill, S.C. — The 2026 adidas Jr. 3SSB Boys National Championships concluded Sunday at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center as champions were crowned across all divisions. After three days of competition, All Covered Prospects captured the 11U Gold championship, while Hoosier Phenoms claimed titles in both the 12U and 13U Gold divisions. Power 5 finished its impressive run by securing the 14U Gold championship.   Prep Hoops Next focused its evaluations on the Gold divisions from 11U through 14U throughout the tournament, and the final day provided no shortage of standout performances. Below are five prospects who elevated their play and left a lasting impression during Championship Sunday in Rock Hill…    Anthony played a pivotal role in leading Hoosier Phenoms I.E. to the 2026 adidas Jr. 3SSB 13U Gold National Championship, impacting the game on both ends of the floor throughout Sunday's title run. The 6-foot-3 forward is a physically imposing prospect for the 2031 class, combining strength, length, and athleticism to influence the game in a variety of ways. Anthony excelled in transition, attacked the rim with confidence, and consistently fought through contact to finish plays while also providing a strong rebounding presence. Defensively, he showcased the versatility to guard multiple positions, comfortably defending both inside and on the perimeter. As he continues to sharpen his perimeter skill set on the wing, the Kentucky product has already established himself as a cornerstone piece for one of the nation's premier seventh-grade teams.     Kevin Battle was a significant piece in Hoosier Phenoms' run to the 12U Jr. 3SSB National Championship. The physical forward made his presence felt around the basket, where he finished through contact and was a reliable scoring option in the paint. Battle also brought value on the defensive end, using his strength and activity level to hold his own against opposing post players. His motor stood out throughout the tournament as he battled for rebounds on both ends of the floor.     Haertle emerged as an important contributor for Davis Bros Elite during its run to the 14U Jr. 3SSB National Championship game. His impact was evident on Sunday, as he provided steady scoring production and consistently made positive plays for his team. While there is still plenty of room for growth in his game, he already shows the ability to be a dependable offensive option. Defensively, he brought toughness and stayed engaged throughout, helping set the tone on that end of the floor. As he prepares to enter the high school ranks in Wisconsin, Haertle is a prospect worth monitoring closely.     Haydn Lesniak gave Phenom BallStarz a much-needed offensive spark at the Jr. 3SSB National Championships after making the move to the program. His performance in a hard-fought loss to D1 Minnesota on Sunday was one of the more impressive scoring outings of the day, as he poured in 25 points with only six of those coming from beyond the arc. Lesniak found ways to score inside the arc, showing a strong feel for the game and the ability to create offense in a variety of ways. Beyond the scoring production, he brought toughness and competitiveness to the point guard position, helping set the tone for his team. Lesniak is well-positioned to continue building momentum as he enters the high school ranks this fall.     Winkler closed the weekend the same way he opened it, leading Team Goose with another game-high scoring performance in a victory. The 6-foot-1 combo guard is a strong, physically advanced backcourt prospect who brings a commanding presence every time he steps on the floor. A gritty defender and natural floor general, Winkler consistently balanced running the offense with taking over as a scorer when his team needed a basket. He plays with a relentless motor, routinely diving for loose balls, and making winning plays that don't always appear in the box score.
