Aaron’s S7 Top Performers by Positions: Point Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With June ball in full effect and Section 7 Qualifiers behind us we arrive at the main event of the summer Section 7. Section 7 give teams a great chance to prove they are one off the best programs in the state and in the nation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Players get to finally show college coaches and scouts the work they have put in since the season ended. Some players have taken on bigger roles or have transferred to new schools for new opportunities.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I will have 5 articles containing players from each category of Point Guards, Combo Guards, Wings, Forwards and Centers making up for 30 players that impressed me the most. He is a guard that can play make for himself and others and do so efficiently. He can score from all three levels especially from deep. He can hit the three off the catch or pullup while being a couple feet off the line. He is a sneaky explosive guard that isn't afraid to get down hill and throw it down on unsuspecting defenders. He sees the court really well and with thread the needle in the paint or on the break. He sees the game a few steps ahead and will rip apart a defense with his scoring and passing. He has beautiful footwork in the paint and will use a fadeaway or up and under to score. He will also hit the three and midrange off the pull up. He is a pick and roll maestro and can throw the perfect pocket pass to his bigs rolling to the rim. Jayden impressed me with his ability to get to the bucket. He has a nice frame and will over power small guards to get to the bucket and finish strong. He can stretch the floor and hit the three off the catch. He has a nice handle and can control the offense. He plays the game at his own pace and never seems to get rushed by the defense. He controls the offense and can get scorers in spots that make them successful. He is a under rated scorer that has some sneaky athleticism. He can blow by defenders with his elite and shifty handle and pull up from the midrange or take it all the way to the bucket. Micah can even throw down a dunk every now and then. He has the ability to score at will. He gets most off his points from beyond the arch off pullups and catch and shoot threes. He holds gravity on the court and will use that to get other teammates open. He has a nice handle and rarely turns the ball over. With his high IQ and ability to play make he makes it essential to have him on the floor. Justin sees the game a few steps ahead of every one else on the court. He slices through the defense with his elite handle and speed making him a very hard guard. Justin gets to is spots where he is most effective and scores efficiently. He likes to get to his spots in the midrange and rise up to hit beautiful jumpers. When getting to the bucket he uses his footwork and pump fakes to get defenders to swing at his shot and then move the ball and finish else where. He has amazing vision and pace to his game allowing him to keep defenders on there toes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
