2026 Midwest Showcase: Iowa 2029s to Watch

One of three Kennedy sophomores-to-be on this list, Gomez averaged 10.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game on 46-45-74 shooting splits as a freshman. He's a long 6-0 guard who can really shoot it off both the dribble and the catch, and he got more comfortable attacking off the bounce as his freshman season progressed. He's a big part of an absolutely loaded 2029 class at Kennedy.     Another big piece of that loaded Kennedy 2029 class is McKowen, a tough-as-nails guard who loves to attack the rim off the dribble. He seems to get stronger as the game goes on, gaining strength from all the bumps that he takes on the way to the tin. In addition to his dribble-drive capabilities, he shoots it well from 3 (37.1%), is a good playmaker (2.8 assists), and is a really, really good and willing on-ball defender.     Noll will be one of a handful of players under consideration for the #1 spot in the 2029 class when the initial rankings are published later this summer. He has fantastic size on the wing at 6-9, can shoot it at a pretty high clip (39.1%), and is an impactful defender who contests shots at a really high level, averaging nearly two blocks per game as a freshman at a 4A school.     A third Kennedy guard on this list, Greenlee came off the bench as a freshman to provide the Cougars with some scoring (4.9) and playmaking (2.42 assist-to-turnover ratio) talents. He's a really good shooter, especially off the catch, burying 42.4% of his 3-point attempts last season.     The younger brother of star wing Josiah Harrington, Jeremiah played sparingly on the varsity roster as a freshman for the Lancers but is a huge part of their future. Like Josiah, he's a skilled three-level scorer who can also impact the game on the defensive end with his combination of length, athleticism, and IQ.
