Barrows's blend of size, athletic ability and shooting touch made for some intriguing performances Saturday afternoon. Philly Pride UAA had some bigger, stronger forwards, but Barrows gladly met them at rim. In addition to the havoc on defense, he spaced the floor on offense too. Barrows relocated off-ball, slotting into open space for catch-and-shoot threes that were difficult to contest. 16p 8r 3b

Against [program_tooltip program_id='2450598' first='WeR1' last=''] HGSL, Brennan was a difference maker around the basket. He came off the bench and immediately started altering shots at the rim, disrupting passes, and finishing defensive possessions with defensive rebounds. He also created second-chance opportunities and generated points in the paint. Brennan didn't put up the same numbers versus [program_tooltip program_id='2450598' first='WeR1' last=''] UAA, but his impact was the same and he helped them secure the win.

When his team faced Crown MHC, Hamilton repeatedly made explosive and acrobatic plays. He instinctively pushed the ball off of defensive boards, stressing the transition defense and, in one instance, going all the way for a coast-to-coast slam. The big wing generated other fastbreak points too, particularly by outrunning everyone else when his team got a stop.

Tasked with playing with five, Matthews was everywhere all the time versus Him League P32. He fervently crashed the boards on both ends, orchestrating transition offense after defensive rebounds. In the halfcourt, he applied pressure on the rim as a roller and a slasher and finished high in the air when he got there. And Matthews did all of that while protecting the basket and not coming off the floor until late in the game.

A two-way wing, Schwartz got active against Cecil Strive ZGXL. He kept drivers out of the lane and forced turnovers. In one sequence, Schwartz blocked a shot, snagged the rebound, and went end-to-end for two. The defense couldn't contain him much either. He capitalized on fastbreak opportunities, cut along the baseline, and attacked off-the-catch to provide Coach John Salmons's squad with easy offense.
