The recent Prep Hoops Circuit: Mayhem in the Plex featured a strong group of talent from across the region, including nationally recognized players, rising prospects, and under-the-radar contributors. Throughout the weekend these players who separated themselves consistently impacted winning in multiple ways. Consistently looked comfortable clean shot preparation. Used a strong rip-through move to attack the baseline and finish. He also displayed patience with a well-timed ball fake into a three-point shot, allowing the closeout to commit before rising into the jumper. Defensively, Huston competed, showed toughness and staying engaged through contact and screens.     Holden brought a strong physical presence throughout the game. Ran the floor well, competed on the glass, and consistently fighting for rebounds in traffic. Defensively, he stayed active with his rotations and showed a willingness to do the dirty work around the paint. Created offense through effort, scoring on multiple offensive rebounds. Displays energy and physical play.     Shooter played with a calm confidence all game. Never looked rushed and competed hard on both ends. Late in the half, he made a big defensive stop blocking a drive at the basket as the horn sounded. He also dove on the floor multiple times battling for 50-50 loose ball possessions. The toughness and effort stood out every time he was on the court.     Quincy was tough to keep out of the paint all game. He played with great pace and constantly stayed in attack mode going downhill. Any time the defense relaxed, he exploded past defenders. Created pressure at the rim. He also showed the feel of a true point guard by setting up the offense and helping teammates get open in the right spots. His ability to control tempo, while attacking made him one of the more effective guards this weekend.     Sid brought value on both ends of the floor with his effort and spacing. His shooting kept defenders scrambling to cover. Created room for the offense to operate. He also dove on loose balls and competed hard during hustle plays. Defensively, his pressure forced a turnover and helped shift momentum. The energy and toughness stood out throughout his minutes.
