Romero showcased himself as one of the top shooters on the day at Rocky Mountain Mayhem. He only needs a bit of space to get going, and he lets it fly, and now it is about hunting shots. He has good mechanics, squares up and has range on his shots, and we want to see him hunt shots. When he wasn't shooting it, he was a player who was not afraid to get in the mix. He brought tenacity defensively, he got his hands on loose balls and got a couple of steals, and showed that he could be an interchangeable defender for [program_tooltip program_id='2100026' first='7070' last='Athletics']. He's a player who we would like to see more of as the intangibles are there.

Ming was an interesting prospect for the Netburners at Rocky Mountain Mayhem as he was a facilitator who saw the whole floor and made the right reads that led to easy scoring opportunities. He pushed and controlled the pace, he's the one the team got the ball to when the opposing team started trapping and switching up defenses, and when they took away passing lanes, he knocked down open shots. Ming got to his mid-range shot and competed despite being smaller, and is a player who has upside. He's on my radar as new names who turned heads this past weekend.

Smith is a guard who had his moments this weekend. He handled pressure, got the team in his sets, and was assertive in games. He was making plays happen by getting inside the teeth of the defense and finishing. He had a few floater finishes that opened up the rest of his game. He hit floaters, took open shots and found gaps in the defense. He also had a couple of steals that he turned into scoring opportunities the other way, and is a player who is looking to impact the game with his activity.

Weber was another prospect for Netburners that caught our attention this weekend, as he was a force on the boards, and that gave his team plenty of second-change scoring opportunities. He's a creative scorer inside who has soft touch around the basket, he doesn't shy away from contact, and he uses his athleticism. They also used him at the front of the press for his length and activity, and he was getting his hands on everything. I certainly want to see more of him to see if he's able to duplicate his play.

Simbro is a player whose game is impactful due to his size and ability to find contact and finish through it. He uses his length and aggression, and we saw him make plenty of plays by crashing the glass. He would attack the boards and go right up and was not afraid to use his body. Simbro runs the floor well, he slashes for baskets, and also hits the mid-range shot as well. He's a player that I want to see more of, but I think he's a name that will continue to rise.

There was a kid named Emerson for [program_tooltip program_id='2078366' first='Colorado' last='Premier'] that I did not know much about, as he did not have a school on there, but when watching his team play, I kept hearing his name. Emerson is tall and uses his length to be a disruptor on defense. He was patrolling the paint to alter shots, grabbing rebounds, and running after. He had a few mid-range pull-ups and showed a confident low-post game. Emerson shot right over the defense, used angles for the rim, and is a player that we hope to see more of moving forward. He's on the radar as an intriguing prospect.
