New Additions of Guards in the Updated 2027 Rankings

He is an excellent perimeter shooter whe made better than 40 percent from 3-point range. He also has very good athleticism. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3617882' first='DJ' last='Coleman'] (Winnetonka): A 5'10 guard who emerged as a potent offensive weapon during his junior season. He's quick and shifty with the ability to change speeds. He can also score at three levels. As a junior, he averaged 18.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists while making 66 3-pointers at a 41 percent clip.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2701042' first='Ronnel' last='Johnson'] (St Mary's, pictured): A 5'10 point guard who has great quickness and who plays with tenacity on the defensive end in the St Mary's tradition. He uses his speed to blow by defenders on the straight line drive and he hits the pull up jumper. He can break down defenders with his quickness and smooth handles.
