Class of 2029: Prospects On The Rise. Live Period Standouts.

There are several prospects in the Class of 2029 who are currently flying under the radar but steadily making a name for themselves. I've had the opportunity to travel and evaluate talent at multiple Live Period events, including Spooky Nook Live, DMV Live, Big Shots and UA Rise. Throughout those events, a number of young players stood out with their skill level, athleticism, basketball IQ, and long-term potential. The 2029 class is shaping up to be a very talented group with several prospects beginning to emerge as names to watch over the next few years.    Brycen, who attends Paul VI Catholic High School, had a very impressive showing this past weekend at the Hoop Group Spooky Nook. He averaged 12.2 PPG, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while leading his team in scoring and rebounding, helping guide his team to an overall 4-1 record during the event. Impacted the game with his high energy and effort. Plays with a high motor and rebounds the basketball consistently on both ends of the floor. Showed toughness finishing around the basket and was effective scoring through contact. His activity level, versatility, and physical presence made him one of the more productive performers over the weekend. His overall impact, production, and physical tools highlight his upside as a developing prospect. With continued growth and development, Brycen projects as a player college programs will continue to monitor closely as he progresses through high school, solidifying himself as one of the rising names to watch in the Class of 2029.     Kam was one of the standout guards in the 15U division at the Big Shots Live Period. The lead guard averaged 17.3 PPG while consistently controlling the pace and flow of the game. Strong on-ball defender who competes and applies pressure defensively. Plays with poise, keeps defenders off balance, and operates well in the half court. Knockdown perimeter shooter with clean mechanics and confidence from deep. Also effective in the mid-range with a polished pull-up game. Unselfish floor general who creates opportunities for teammates while still being capable of scoring at a high level. Continues to establish himself as a guard to monitor closely moving forward.     Aace put together a very impressive showing at the Hoop Group Spooky Nook. The lead guard averaged 10.2 PPG while showcasing his quickness with the ball, shiftiness, handle, and ability to control the pace of the game. An excellent passer who sees the floor well and delivers the ball on time and on target to teammates. Did a great job breaking down defenders off the dribble and creating space for his mid-range pull-up. Plays with poise and composure, keeping defenders off balance with his creativity and change of speed. Also showed strong shooting mechanics and confidence from the perimeter. A skilled guard with a strong feel for the game and plenty of upside moving forward.     Nick is a skilled point guard who plays with a high basketball IQ and a strong feel for the game. A tough, competitive defender that applies pressure and ability to disrupt opposing guards. Played a major role for his team over the weekend, leading the group in steals an assist while anticipating plays at a high level. Shows excellent instincts offensively. He is a very reliable shooter from the perimeter with solid mechanics . A solid ball-handler who can create his own shot, penetrate under control, and finish at the rim through contact. Demonstrates strong game management, composure, and maturity for his age. A guard to closely monitor moving forward as he continues to develop and progress.     Jayden averaged 12.0 PPG over the weekend while consistently impacting the game with his energy and activity level. Possesses great size and length, allowing him to be effective on both ends of the floor. A very productive scorer who knows how to find opportunities within the offense and capitalize on them. Reliable shooter with the ability to consistently knock down perimeter shots and stretch the defense. His combination of size, energy, and scoring ability makes him a prospect worth monitoring moving forward.
