A shoot-first guard, [player_tooltip player_id='3600396' first='Gabe' last='Christians'] played a primary ball-handler role, initiating the offense for Swarm on Saturday. Taking the ball up the floor and handling pressure about as well as anyone else on his team's roster, Christians ensured he didn't give up any live ball turnovers despite facing full-court pressure.

Always looking for shots on the perimeter and in the mid-range, Christians was ready to launch when the opportunity presented itself, too, not forcing anything and playing at his own pace.

The secondary ball-handler for Swarm, [player_tooltip player_id='3598977' first='Tucker' last='Healy'] helped take some of the pressure off of Christians in the half court. With a tight handle and the ability to dribble around traffic, Healy could benefit from looking to attack the rim more, opening up shooters like Christians on the outside for more triples.

An intense on-ball defender, Healy drew the assignment of defending opposing team's main on-ball threat.

The second time [player_tooltip player_id='3598171' first='Kingston' last='Lichtenberg'] has earned some recognition from us over the weekend, he may have been the most important for the 16U squad. Playing what seemed to be every minute for Swarm, the 6-foot-2 wing was all over the floor, defending multiple positions, diving after loose balls, getting rebounds and working on getting buckets at the rim offensively.

Coming off a freshman campaign with West Monona where he played in 17 of the Spartans 21 games, he'll undoubtedly be a more consistent part of the rotation as a sophomore with his effort plays.

One of the more skilled players for Swarm, Schnepf is a stretch big that protects the rim on defense and spreads the floor offensively. Moving without the ball to get an open baseline jumper, and a willing and able three-point shooter, Schnepf has the makings of being an effective shooter that can also protect the rim with physicality.

Schnepf is a big that takes after the other, older players at MMCRU. Not quite on varsity this last season as a sophomore, Schnepf will have a spot ready for him next year, assuming he brings a similar skillset to the court for the Royals that he did in Sioux Falls.

Another perimeter defender for Swarm, who possesses a bevy of them, [player_tooltip player_id='3597999' first='Kyler' last='Vanvoorst'] is one of the more high energy prospects alongside Lichtenberg. Playing 17U as well, Vanvoorst's motor allows him to play on and off-ball offensively, while also serving as a crucial on-ball and off-ball defender.

Like Lichtenberg, VanVoorst was one to dive after loose balls, get his hand up on jump shots and not give up anything easy to the opposing squad.
